Kuala Lumper -A U.S. air force jet that flew House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Malaysia left the country on Tuesday and flew close to the Philippines, in the day's most followed flight on tracking site Flightradar24. Reuters could not immediately establish if Pelosi or her delegation were on flight SPAR19, but authorities in the Philippines, a U.S. ally, said no request had been received from the United States for her to visit or transit in the country. The plane left Kuala Lumpur at 3:42 p.m. (0742 GMT) and flew east towards Borneo on a route that skirted the South China Sea.

Americans need to wake up yesterday. Why are we spending millions of taxpayer dollars for the speaker of the house to travel to Asia? We have more than enough problems domestically in America today, and I don’t see where a trip to Aja has anything to do with legislating domestically. Those voters in California who have returned her to office every two years forever should stop and think about what they have done. How is her continued presents in Congress good for America or for her district in California? Answer, it’s not.

They have a landing request now. The press, PLA, Taiwan and the aviation world know the USAF 737 is currently over Taiwan decending into Taipei. They are very public about it and ate within minutes of landing.

I'm with #1. Why is a Congressman flying around eastern Asia and not in attendance on Capitol Hill? Or is she the bait that the administration is waving in front of the Chinese so that the worst President in history can instead be remembered as a wartime leader?

Nice work, Nanie. Let's see how fast the chicoms mobilize the children in the chicoms' military. Seems weird that Nanie chooses to stir the pot like this while biden the cheater and Hunter are in the chicoms' back pocket. And no big deal that practically everything we consume comes from, guess where, China?

In case you do not know: The communists were overthrowing the government in China proper. The leder of the state in 1949, retreated to Taiwan. Taiwan is considerd to be the last piece of land controlled by a non-communist government. When the United Nations was invented, Taiwan was the recognized leader of China, but that eventually changed. Taiwan remains non-communist but is coveted by the Commies in China.

It's unfortunate that Southwest Airlines doesn't fly to Taiwan. We might have saved lots of money because bags fly free on Southwest!

DeSantis Set To Make 'Major Announcement' Tomorrow 0 replies

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to make a “major announcement” Thursday morning not related to any campaign, DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw tweeted Wednesday night.“MAJOR announcement tomorrow morning from @GovRonDeSantis. Prepare for the liberal media meltdown of the year,” Pushaw wrote. “Everyone get some rest tonight.” However, as Pushaw is his press secretary on the official government side, she quickly clarified this has nothing to do with a potential 2024 White House bid. “He already announced he’s running for re-election as governor,”

There are a lot of red faces at the New York Times this morning. On second thought, it’s an open question whether anyone on the Times editorial board is capable of the kind of introspection necessary to feel that emotion. Nevertheless, the terrorist leader and planner of the 9/11 attacks is dead, killed in a house belonging to a notorious Afghan terrorist responsible for killing or wounding dozens of American soldiers. Sirajuddin Haqqani is the son of the founder of the Haqqani network, a family known for its terrorist activities and extortion plots

A majority of likely voters believe Democrats are responsible for plunging the United States into a recession, a Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday found.   Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in late July that “Democrats inherited an economy that was primed for an historic comeback, and promptly ran it straight into the ground.” Out of 1,000 likely voters surveyed between July 28-31, 59 percent say they agree with McConnell’s statement and 35 percent disagree. The margin of sampling error is ± 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. “As might be expected, 85 percent of Republicans at least somewhat agree that Democrats “ran [the economy] straight into the ground,” as do a majority

The Senate voted on Wednesday to admit Sweden and Finland into NATO. The Senate voted to ratify Finland and Sweden’s applications to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The two northern European countries sought to join the defensive treaty organization after Russia invaded Ukraine. Each country must ratify Sweden and Finland’s application to be admitted to NATO. The Senate overwhelmingly approved the application for both countries 95-1. Democrats and Republicans overwhelmingly approved of the measure, while Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) voted no, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) voted present. The Senate voted before the ratification vote on an amendment proposed by Paul that would stipulate

Walmart confirmed on Wednesday that it has begun to lay off corporate employees about a week after the company slashed its profit outlook and warned that consumers had pulled back on discretionary spending due to inflation. In a statement to CNBC, the retail giant described the layoffs as a way to "better position the company for a strong future." Anne Hatfield, a Walmart spokesperson, declined to say how many workers will be affected and what divisions have experienced cuts. She said Walmart is still hiring in parts of its business that are growing, including supply chain, e-commerce, health and wellness and advertising sales.

The race tested the power of former president Trump’s endorsement, which Gibbs secured after embracing the MAGA platform and backing the theories that the 2020 election was “stolen.” “John Gibbs is a fabulous talent who loves the State, our Military, and our Vets.

The hellfire missiles that are said to have taken out Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, but not his family, are a newer generation of missiles that are high on precision and devoid of explosives. The AGM 14 R9X missile, made by Lockheed Martin, can be fired from, in Zawahiri’s case, a Reaper drone as well as other platforms. It can be fired from 600 miles away. Because its payload is tungsten and not packed explosives, this version of the hellfire doesn’t have the accompanying explosion– unless it hits, for instance, a full gas tank in a car. The R9X is called a Ninja because of the six blades deployed during flight

A poll conducted by the Caixin news service on Monday found China’s economy foundering as the second half of 2022 began, with slower manufacturing activity, higher unemployment, and a depressed real estate market. China’s weakening economy reduced its demand for oil, combining with downbeat manufacturing data from other countries to bring oil prices down by four percent. Caixin’s poll found that Chinese manufacturing activity slowed considerably in July — or possibly even contracted — after the latest round of coronavirus lockdowns ended in June and produced an exuberant surge in production. China Beige Book International (CBBI), a consulting firm for investors, said July factory output slowed to levels not seen since mid-2020 and retail sector unemployment

During the segment, Goldberg made arguments suggesting that God is fine with abortion. (snip) The host and famous actress seemed to invoke God to justify women choosing abortion, countering Hasselbeck’s pro-life points by saying that God gave women "freedom of choice." Goldberg also argued that Jesus Christ's teaching of, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," obliged her to not speak out against abortion lest she risk judging others.

As America moves like a barreling freight train into a third-world country, one must ask, where is Mayor Pete? It honestly didn’t take long after Joe Biden became President for shipping containers to start piling up and causing backlog and supply chain issues across the country. The estimated cost is being passed on to Americans causing the price of goods and services to increase 4.5 times more than what they had been paying at the end of 2020. The cost of exporting goods has also skyrocketed. (Tweet)

You really have to wonder who ran against some of these morons in political office sometimes. Honestly, was the alternative to someone like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez being forced to step on a rusty nail? Was Eric Swalwell’s opponent a literal cannibal promising to consume children if elected? If you set out to elect some of the dumbest creatures to ever walk upright on the planet, you couldn’t do much better than what Democrats currently have serving in Congress and the White House. Why? There is no good answer, at least one that covers everyone. There are, after all, a lot of really dumb Democrats in office.
