Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., should be the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, political strategist Michael Starr Hopkins argued on Tuesday. In an op-ed for The Hill, Hopkins compared the congresswoman to former President Barack Obama as the "fresh air" Democrats need for their party. "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is less of a personality and more of a movement. Yes, the smart, photogenic congresswoman is the face of the rising progressive movement, but she is also the future of the Democratic Party. AOC has cultivated a following beyond politics. She’s an influencer in its purest form.

Smart is not a trait of Sandy from the Bronx. She cannot think on her feet. She is scripted to say the very least. However she is as dangerous as Eva Peron. She has fooled her constituents whomever they are. She is the most outspoken Squad member. Nevermind debating 45. Can you see her in the debates with Butt Pete, Pocahontas, Hair Newsom, the Hildebeast. They would eat her up and spit her out. Worth the popcorn to watch.

Thing is, it's all about marketing her as a product. The news media and party propagandists would turn her from the ditzy bimbo she is into a Rhodes scholar rocket scientist who discovered the cure for cancer. And many people would buy it. They'd still need to cheat to get her into office, but, hey, they have no problem with that.

"‘Has the ability to tell the story of her generation’" - now, someone please educate me on the things that AOC's "generation" has done leaving out all the accomplishments of the Conservative members of her "generation", please? and the answer is a simple nothing!! and especially AOC herself : imagine a second term freshmen member of the House becoming President? "C'mon, Man" - this is so laughable it's pathetic "but , but, but, but" (as Larry Kudlow would say) if she is the face of the demcommies, bring her on because they'll need and definitely have to use every single Dominion Voting System and every one of the 2,000 mules to get her elected, it really is appalling to think the demcommies might consider her as a nominee, the other bozo's are bad enough but throw her into the mix and the clown show really begins

Actually a much more legitimate candidate than Comalala since both her parents were American citizens instead of none. I propose amending the Constitution to a minimum age for President to 55, Senators 55 and Congress Critters 45. Tell the story of her generation? What story might that be? A generation so pampered and spoiled that they feel they don't have to pay a debt they incurred? A generation so spoiled, that working from home in their pajamas is considered a hardship. Baby Boomers have been browbeaten for decades for being spoiled, but this bunch has taken spoiled to new heights. It's a generation that really believes that they should be given everything for free. It's also a generation so devoid of general knowledge about almost everything except the latest TIC TOK trend, that trying to carry on a conversation with them hurts.

Justice Department should have subpoenaed

The decision by the Justice Department to conduct a full-scale morning raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home does not seem justified, based on what we know as of now. If it is true that the basis of the raid was the former president’s alleged removal of classified material from the White House, that would constitute a double standard of justice. There were no raids, for example, on the homes of Hillary Clinton or former Clinton administration national security adviser Sandy Berger for comparable allegations of mishandling official records in the recent past. Previous violations of the Presidential Records Act typically have been punished by administrative fines, not criminal prosecution.

It seems that someone told Congress that deficits cause inflation, but forgot to mention why (or Congress wasn’t listening to the explanation). How else can you explain the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 with a straight face? The massive spending package that Senate Democrats are set to vote on Saturday, which allocates funding for health care, fighting climate change and controlling prescription drug costs in exchange for raising some taxes, focuses largely on deficit reduction that will have no effect on inflation. It’s excessive money creation — the printing of more bills at the direction of the Federal Reserve, reducing the spending value of those already in circulation

There’s been a lot of professed outrage lately over woke school boards. According to Republican candidates for office, they’re infiltrating children’s curricula with critical race theory, recruiting drag queens to read at story hour for pre-schoolers, and engaging in other forms of — shall we say — “incompetence.” But the real heroes pushing back against left-wing ideologies in government schools are the parents, when it ought to be lawmakers. Outspoken parents in New Jersey made headlines when they protested their school district removing holiday names from the school calendar. Voters in San Francisco — yes! — recalled school board members who thought renaming schools “with a connection to colonialism”

On Monday evening, the FBI took the unprecedented step of raiding the home of former President Donald Trump. What were they looking for? Astonishingly, what is being leaked to the media is that they were after documents that possibly violated the Presidential Records Act. Far from their promises of proving some grand conspiracy involving January 6th, it appears the Democrats, using the power of the nation’s federal law enforcement apparatus, are trying to take Donald Trump out with selective enforcement of provisions that are normally handled in a civil, not criminal manner. Where have we seen that before? None of this is a coincidence, and none of it is justified.

There has to be one, right? The FBI doesn’t just go to a federal judge for a search warrant for the home of a former president on its own — and presumably a federal judge doesn’t just casually sign off on such a request, either. NBC’s Ken Dilanian urges caution in jumping to conclusions at this point, but states the obvious when saying that this had to have gotten approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland prior to the raid on Mar-a-Lago:(Snip) Dilanian’s correct that it’s no small matter to get a federal judge to sign off on a warrant, let alone one targeting a former president who

The reaction to the FBI raid — reportedly with a large group of agents — on Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago is setting off a firestorm of reactions. Dan Bongino blasted it as some “third world bulls**t.” He also said it was a “clarion call” for everyone to get off their seats and vote the Democrats out. Dana Loesch believed it was the Democrats trying to settle “political scores.” Lara and Eric Trump ripped the action and provided more information about what had happened in the raid, including that the FBI didn’t find anything in a safe in the home when they cracked it open.

Vladimir Putin has now lost at least 100 colonels in the war in Ukraine, as the US says up to 80,000 Russian troops have been killed or wounded in the fighting. Lieutenant-Colonel Vitaly Tsikul, 36 and a tank commander, was confirmed dead by Russian media which showed footage of his funeral taking place in the town of Chebarkul, central Russia. His death was revealed as Colin Kahl, third-most senior official at the Pentagon, said that up to 80,000 Russia soldiers have been taken out less than six months of war. It means that around half of the 150,000 - 190,000 men that Putin is thought to have amassed on Ukraine's border
