NEW YORK—Chinese entrepreneur Chen Quanhong had one message he wanted to tell to the world: “Tuidang.”
It’s a Chinese phrase—and it means “quit the Party.”
The words were emblazoned on a yellow flag Chen was carrying at a parade in Washington on July 21 to highlight the Chinese communist regime’s myriad human rights abuses.
Chen is now one of 400 million Chinese who have renounced their ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliate organizations.
In June, the business owner from China’s eastern Shandong Province made a statement formally breaking his ties with the Party, participating in a nearly two-decades-long grassroots movement

The most recent VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) data shows that a 9-year-old died in California two weeks after getting one dose of a Pfizer-BioNTech jab.
The female child had no listed preexisting conditions and was not hospitalized.
She experienced 2-3 days of “stomach ache, sore throat and chest pain; two weeks after receiving the vaccination,” the database states.
United States VAERS data from Dec. 14, 2020, to July 22, 2022, show that there were 12,232 adverse events in 5- to 11-year-olds, including 313 “serious” cases and 9 deaths.

Programs in countries around the world have begun quietly compensating people who have been injured by or died as a result of the COVID-19 vaccines.(snip)In many countries around the world, consumers who are injured as a result of vaccines are covered by government compensation programs. In the United States there are two government-funded programs that are designed to compensate consumers for injuries, at the same time shielding vaccine manufacturers from liability for any serious injuries their products cause: The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP).
(sniip)
As of July 1, 2022, not a single claim has been compensated by the CICP.

An elementary school in Indiana must allow a 10-year-old boy who identifies as transgender to play on its all-girls softball team despite a new state law preventing males from competing on female sports teams, a judge ruled Tuesday. President Barack Obama’s former campaign manager David Plouffe famously said of Donald Trump’s entry into politics: “It is not enough to simply beat Trump. He must be destroyed thoroughly. His kind must not rise again.”What was it that Washington DC and President Obama’s team feared so much about Donald J Trump?
The answer to that question is why the FBI, DOJ and CIA targeted Trump in 2016; and why they continued the targeting in 2017 with the Mueller investigation; (snip) why they still keep targeting Donald Trump with the J6 committee(snip)
Donald J Trump is the existential threat.

U.S. drug regulators have rejected a request to revoke emergency authorization for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for 12- to 15-year-olds.
“Petitioner has provided no basis to demonstrate that the EUA should be revoked,” Dr. Peter Marks, a top Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official, wrote(snip)
He was responding to the Informed Consent Action Network, which in May urged the FDA in a citizen petition to revoke the emergency use authorization (EUA) for the shot, asserting that data has emerged since the EUA was issued in May 2021 shows the benefits of the vaccine do not outweigh the risks.
That data includes research estimating Pfizer’s shot provides just 51 percent protection

Two retired U.S. generals, MG Paul Vallely, U.S. Army, and Thomas McInerney, USAF, raised concerns over the World Health Organization’s recent declaration of monkeypox as a global health emergency, alleging potential ulterior motives.
“Each of us should not be alarmed by this alert as the credibility of WHO is in great question based on their actions and notices on COVID-19,” Vallely told The Epoch Times.
“The rare designation means the WHO now views the outbreak as a significant enough threat to global health that a coordinated international response is needed to prevent the virus from spreading (snip)

At first blush I’m inclined to see Jose Ruben Zamora as the Latin version of Jamal Khashoggi; which is to say, he glows CIA.
Yesterday in Guatemala, the government arrested a “journalist” and “businessman” named Jose Ruben Zamora who was the publisher of a national newspaper and strong opposition voice against the conservative government of President Alejandro Giammattei [WSJ link]. Today, Guatemalan President Giammattei is reported to have survived an assassination attempt, leaving people injured as a result of gunfire [details sketchy].

After a state judge refused to disqualify U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from the ballot, the left-wing group that challenged her candidacy on insurrection grounds is appealing the judge’s ruling to the Georgia Supreme Court.
The state court threw out the challenge on July 25. The appeal was filed July 28.
Greene, an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump, represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district. The Christian conservative is known for making strongly worded, often controversial statements. A first-term lawmaker now seeking a second term, she won the Republican primary in her district on May 24 with 70.4 percent of the vote.

The U.S. government has reached a new deal with Moderna for 65 million additional COVID-19 vaccine doses, the Biden administration announced on July 29.
The deal is valued at $1.7 billion.
Moderna will sell doses of its vaccine that target Omicron subvariants, according to the agencies that announced the agreement. The actual contract has not yet been made public.
Moderna and other vaccine makers have been updating their COVID-19 vaccine formulations because the vaccines are based on the Wuhan strain, which has not been prevalent since 2020. The vaccines have proven increasingly worse at protecting recipients as newer variants emerge.

This week Angelenos got some good news when the county health director announced that, for now, she will not subject them to another indoor mask mandate. But the announcement begs the question: How is it that she continues to have the power to issue such mandates nearly two and a half years after the emergency was first declared?
The answer is the “emergency” order remains in place, and so does the director’s mandate that masks be worn in taxis, Ubers, airports, and healthcare settings.
Los Angeles County first declared a state of emergency due to COVID-19 on March 4, 2020.

Hanover, a city in the northwest of Germany, has become the first major metropolitan area to try and reduce the use of natural gas by removing hot water from public buildings. The move comes as natural gas supplies from Russia are reduced to 20% of capacity. Germany is attempting to fill up storage facilities of natural gas in order to survive the winter.
Germany, together with several European countries, are telling their citizens to expect large increases in their electricity bills as energy costs continue to skyrocket.
