A New Jersey woman was arrested this week after federal agents and New York City police officers found fentanyl packaged like candy and stored in LEGO boxes in her car.
The woman, Letitia Bush, was arrested on Sept. 28 when agents and police officers stopped her vehicle in the Lincoln Tunnel. The vehicle allegedly contained 15,000 “multicolored” pills and had an estimated street value of $300,000, according to WPVI.
Reportedly, Bush was in the backseat of the vehicle when police and agents showed up. She had two black tote bags and a yellow LEGO container. Inside the LEGO container were “brick shaped” packages

White people were told to engage in a racial shaming exercise to remind them of their privilege by Wisconsin Democrat Governor Tony Evers’ Department of Public Instruction (DPI) when he was its superintendent.
A document promoted by the Department of Public Instruction, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, suggested white people “wear a white wristband as a reminder about your privilege.”
Democrat Governor Tony Evers, who is up for reelection, was the Superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction from 2009 to 2019. During his time as Superintendent, the department worked alongside Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA).

On Sunday, Dr. Stephanie Cooper shared on her Twitter followers that she was surprised when one of her patients declined to receive a blood transfusion if the donor had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Dr. Stephanie Cooper is a Calgary-trained Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with Alberta Health Services.
“So- this was a first for me. A patient declined blood transfusion if the donor had received a covid vaccination,” she wrote.
Another doctor replied and expressed the same sentiment, “Sadly, we’ve had a couple of patients here with the same beliefs.” [Tweet]

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his political activist wife, Ginni, are a high-profile Washington conservative power couple.
Power couples are a common Washington phenomenon. Each spouse wields political power and influence in a certain arena. Together they concentrate power and influence.
Per Public Citizen, of the 115th Congress, 59% of retiring congressmen remained in Washington, taking jobs as lobbyists or in consulting firms, trade groups or business groups, working to influence government.
So, we have power couples that are in office, that were in office -- congressmen and ex-congressmen, federal regulators and former regulators, lawyers, etc.
But there is something very different about the Thomases.
Washington power couples are about money, power and influence.

Divorces can be painful, particularly when custody issues are involved. But one father in New York is in the midst of a nightmare for any parent of conscience. Until the age of 8, the man’s daughter was a normal child. The girl told her father that she was no longer interested in pageants or feminine things, just as many girls do growing up. The father shrugged it off since he understood that many girls go through a “tomboy” phase. And had the child been left to develop on her own, that may well have been the case. But in 21st Century America, children are no longer allowed to do that.

It’s hard to believe it, but one year has passed since Americans nationwide began using the ironic catchphrase “Let’s Go Brandon!” to mock Joe Biden.
It all started with an interview when NBC reporter Kelli Stavast claimed during an interview with NASCAR driver Brandon Brown that chants of “F— Joe Biden!” at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega were actually “Let’s go, Brandon!”
The phrase was quickly adopted by conservatives as a family-friendly alternative for expressing anger and defiance at Joe Biden and his policies, as well as a dig at media bias. Before long, “Let’s Go Brandon!” went from a viral social media meme

Monongahela, Pennsylvania -- Whether by design or necessity, the decision by House Republican leaders to kick off their Commitment to America in this river town on the edge of Allegheny County was quite apt.
There is no easy way to get here from Pittsburgh, or from the airport, or from our nation's capital. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana laughed, saying the very point of the Commitment to America is to reach the people and places Congress neglects to the point that it needs a GPS to find them and a dictionary to spell them.

Florida’s month-long gas tax holiday went into effect over the weekend, as some residents are noticing gas prices falling below $3.00 per gallon in some areas.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed the Florida legislature’s $1.2 billion tax relief package in May, designed to help Floridians weather the storm of inflation in President Biden’s America. The package included tax holidays and exemption periods for a variety of categories, including baby items, appliances, disaster preparedness, and gasoline, the last of which went into effect this month. It was expected to reduce the price of gas by roughly 25 cents, if properly passed on to the consumer.

A video has surfaced admitting a trans activist group that staged school walkouts in Virginia was led by a former Democrat staffer and a large number of the students who walked simply wanted to ditch school.
Not everything is as it seems concerning the walkouts. An internal Zoom call acquired by The Daily Wire allegedly paints quite a different picture of the protest. In the video, the Pride Liberation Project reportedly boasted about how they tricked the media and that, instead of being civil rights heroes, most of the students just wanted to skip school.
The media salivated over the walkouts from nearly 100 Virginia public and independent schools

The desperate search for Hurricane Ian survivors continued today as the mounting death toll reached at least 104 - after the torrent caused an estimated $60 billion in damage.
Fort Myers Beach residents were warned that they may not be able to return to their waterlogged homes for months because of the devastation blighting the coastal community.
Insurers assessing the damage to properties ransacked by the flooding and winds are bracing for a multi-billion dollar hit after Florida's streets were turned into rivers and houses were engulfed by the raging Category 4 storm.

Unlike the path of Hurricane Ian, there isn’t much to the “cone of uncertainty” when it comes to the progressive game plan and when one pundit turned a political attack against Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) over his handling of the hurricane into a personal attack against his Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw, she had more than a few things to say about the “disgusting filthy bottom feeder.”
Latching on to The New York Times Monday morning quarterbacking on the statewide response to Ian ahead of it making landfall, Peter Schorsch, of the website FloridaPolitics, was readily called out for suggesting that DeSantis had not been warning Floridians about the dangerous storm,

Former President Jimmy Carter turned 98 on Saturday and celebrated in Plains, Georgia — where he was born in 1924, while Calvin Coolidge was in office.
Carter, who has lived longer than any other president in US history, marked the occasion with his family, including wife Rosalynn, 95. He attended a parade in Plains and watched from a wheelchair.
A picture posted by the Carter Center showed Carter smiling and observing the parade from a wheelchair.
That evening, he was likely to watch his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, on television as they battled for the top spot in the National League East, his grandson said.
