Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has requested the National Guard step in to help handle the arrival of thousands of migrants from the US-Mexico border, saying the nation’s capital has reached a “tipping point.” In a July 19 request for assistance to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Bowser reported that “over 4,000 individuals arriving on nearly 200 buses” have come to DC since April, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey pledged to put migrants on charter buses to protest the Biden administration’s immigration policies. “Our collective response and service efforts have now become overwhelmed,”

DC is seeing the Cloward-Piven strategy up close and personal-- designed to break down a society when it cannot cope with or manage too many people. To those who have no idea what that is, look it up and you will "see" what has been going on with massive spending for "shovel ready" things that are noting more than giving government money (YOUR hard-earned money) over to selected individuals, groups and causes, Picking the "winners" who are NOT you. This inflation is caused by not only poor energy policy and massive spending down a rat hole, but in subjugating institutions to the point they collapse when they cannot deal with massive problems caused by adding millions of persons to be served. Whatever "crisis" can be exploited IS being used all at the same time. Voting Every Demonrat socialsist marxist out should be to vote out the RINOs as well, but they are all so well entrenched by winning primaries

Republican Senator Pat Toomey hotly defended his vote against the burn pits bill on Sunday, calling out “pseudo-celebrities” such as Jon Stewart for attacking him and Democrats for using vets as political pawns. The bill would have ostensibly expanded healthcare benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits during their service. However, Democrats reportedly inserted legislation that had nothing to do with that. When Republicans were not allowed to amend the bill and voted against it, the left then proceeded to insinuate they hate veterans. Stewart targeted Toomey after the vote and excoriated Republicans for standing against the bill.
