Whistleblower allegations raise prospect
FBI misled Senate's Hunter Biden probe,

Recent revelations from FBI whistleblowers raise the strong prospect that the bureau engaged in a "targeted effort to intentionally undermine" the Senate's pre-election probe into Hunter Biden's business deals, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) declares in a stinging letter to the nation's top law enforcement and intelligence officials. (snip) "The FBI being weaponized against two sitting chairmen of U.S. Senate committees with constitutional oversight responsibilities would be one of the greatest episodes of Executive Branch corruption in American history," the Wisconsin Republican wrote.

These whistleblowers need to be elevated to the highest level in the command chain of the FBI with unlimited power to promote and fire other agents. This is the only way to root out the corruption at the highest level of this now disgraced group of political hacks.

How about offering guaranteed retirement and promotion to any FBI or CIA person who will come forward and tell us the real truth. Would be cheaper than a bunch of drawn out useless congressional investigations. Then congress can go directly to criminal referrals.

#1 please consider that any elevated form of unaccountable power will INNNNNNN-evitably end up in the hands of rotten people immediately. Hugely entitled empowered and unaccountable people are not the solution to anything. Any heap of power and money will immediately be handed over to jerks. Fact of life. We have to act as poor but smart people to save ourselves - and we can do it - but no highly and magnificently elevated outside force can do it for us. We all know ways, and no sane person is going to set out a plan. Well, except prayer, which by the decree of God can only do good, so it is ok to tell Democrats you are going to.

With all of the things, and mostly being covered-up, that have happened over the past 6 or so years, I have a question? Does anyone know what Law Enforcement agency would have ability to arrest people in the FBI or DOJ? Or, are they a self-monitored entity with no one able to investigate or be accountable to anyone?

Of all the uncertainties that college freshmen must face, none is more sensitive than the issue of roommates. (snip) If the Biden administration gets its way, schools could force biological female students to live with biological men who identify as women and vice versa. The Department of Education has proposed a new Title IX rule that demands that colleges treat students in line with their gender identity, not their biological sex. That means that people who identify as women would live with people who identify as women, and people who identify as men would live with people who identify as men.

A Federal appeals court on Thursday ruled that a Catholic high school has the right to end its employment of a teacher who entered into a same-sex union in violation of church teachings. The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in Starkey v. Roncalli High School and Archdiocese of Indianapolis that religious schools have a constitutional right to choose who teaches their faith to the next generation. The appellate court asserted that Lynn Starkey's role as a guidance counselor included ministerial duties, a ministerial exception under the First Amendment allowed the school to not renew her contract.

Far-left CNN has decided that some of the stuff on Hunter Biden’s laptop just may be real, including the First Son prioritizing holding onto a Porsche over paying his female assistant’s salary. (snip) “I am trying to figure out what to do about bills,” Biden’s then-assistant emailed him on December 28, 2018. She listed a series of payments Biden owed, including health insurance, a car payment and her salary. “Pay the health care. Pay the Porsche,” Biden responded, though he said she should pay herself half of the salary she said she was owed.

EXCLUSIVE: The top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee says new whistleblower disclosures allege FBI officials are pressuring agents to "reclassify" cases as "domestic violent extremism" in order to appease the Biden administration's push to focus on these cases. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, sent a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray Wednesday after he says "brave whistleblowers" came forward with information about "disturbing conduct" at the agency. "From recent protected disclosures, we have learned that FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification," writes Jordan.

I was 12 years old when I realized that motherhood was my destiny—or, at least, that it was supposed to be. It was the mid-1990s, the heyday of the so-called purity movement, when the True Love Waits campaign arrived at our small, Catholic parish in the suburbs of Chicago. A pious child who wanted to please God, I dutifully signed a pledge to my "future mate"—and strangely my "future children" too—that I would wait to have sex until I was married. This prescribed only two good scripts for my life: Mother or Mother Superior.

President Biden said the United States "is not in a recession," despite Thursday's GDP report, saying it is "no surprise that the economy is slowing down" amid inflation. The U.S. economy shrank in the spring for the second consecutive quarter, meeting the criteria for a recession as record-high inflation and higher interest rates forced consumers and businesses to pull back on spending. Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the economy, shrank by 0.9% on an annualized basis in the three-month period from April through June, the Commerce Department said in its first reading of

The U.S. economy contracted in the second quarter of 2022 as the economy was battered by four-decade high inflation, record high fuel prices, soaring food costs, and tighter monetary policy. The government reported Thursday that Gross Domestic Product shrank by 0.9 percent in the April through June period. Economists had expected the economy to grow by 0.3 percent, according to the Wall Street Journal. The economy contracted by 1.6 percent in the second quarter. Many Americans consider two straight quarters of recession to be the marker of a recession. Economists, however, rely on the determination of the National Bureau of Economic Research to say when a recession starts.
