Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh refused to back down after pro-abortion supporters were angered by his pro-life comments last week. Harbaugh appeared as the keynote speaker at the July 17 Plymouth Right to Life dinner and auction at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan, where he asserted that America needs more respect and civility in political discussion especially where it concerns abortion. “I believe in having the courage to let the unborn be born. I love life. I believe in having a loving care and respect for life and death. My faith and my science are what drive these beliefs in me,” Harbaugh said during his address.

Super! It's great to see that someone is not backing down from his position that babies should not be killed. Of course, suddenly a person who is prolife is rather evil. Who knew. You are not allowed with any dogma handed down by ugly women or dems. Thank you, coach, sticking to your guns, i.e. morals.

There are flickers of hope that the Lord lets us see. Last night at our grandson's basketball game (YMCA), the coaches and both teams circled up, held hands and prayed before the game. Black and white. We applauded.

EXCLUSIVE: The top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee says new whistleblower disclosures allege FBI officials are pressuring agents to "reclassify" cases as "domestic violent extremism" in order to appease the Biden administration's push to focus on these cases. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, sent a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray Wednesday after he says "brave whistleblowers" came forward with information about "disturbing conduct" at the agency. "From recent protected disclosures, we have learned that FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification," writes Jordan.

Jeanette Cooper, a mom in Chicago, has missed her daughter’s 13th, 14th, and 15th birthdays. She doesn’t get to be there as her daughter is learning to drive. In fact, she has only seen Sophia for eight and a half hours in the last three years. That’s because Cooper lost custody of her daughter after refusing to go along with Sophia’s belief that she is transgender. When Sophia was 12, Cooper went to pick her up from a custodial visit at her father’s house, but her daughter refused to come home.

The Supreme Court's historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was quickly felt around the country as states quickly moved to enact abortion bans. But abortion rights advocates fear not enough attention is being given to how the impact of the decision will ripple around the world. I was 12 years old when I realized that motherhood was my destiny—or, at least, that it was supposed to be. It was the mid-1990s, the heyday of the so-called purity movement, when the True Love Waits campaign arrived at our small, Catholic parish in the suburbs of Chicago. A pious child who wanted to please God, I dutifully signed a pledge to my "future mate"—and strangely my "future children" too—that I would wait to have sex until I was married. This prescribed only two good scripts for my life: Mother or Mother Superior.

An intelligence analyst behind the FBI’s botched Trump-Russia collusion probe is now accused of using the bureau’s authority to discredit reports about Hunter Biden’s criminal activity months before the 2020 presidential election. Meet Brian Auten. The FBI analyst is hardly a household name, but whistleblowers who contacted the office of GOP senator Chuck Grassley say he was behind an August 2020 report that FBI officials used as part of a "scheme…to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation." Auten’s report also caused the FBI "to cease" investigative activity into the younger Biden, according to a letter Grassley sent the Justice Department and FBI.

Don’t go, Boss! That’s my strong advice to President Trump as he prepares to deliver a speech in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday at his alleged “think tank,” the America First Policy Institute (AFPI). I recently wrote a column about why I believed Trump should not run in 2024. I was wrong. I allowed my distaste for Trump’s personality to override his virtues, which are considerable. Some people want Trump without his vices. I was among them -- until yesterday, when I watched and listened to Tom Klingenstein’s speech titled “Trump’s virtues.” It was masterful and shamed me that I did not make the distinction between Trump's character and his virtues, the former being deeply flawed, the latter being almost perfect. I need to man up in my defense of the former President's virtues.
