Donald Trump watched his supporters storm the US Capitol on television while his senior staff begged him to call the rioters off, the January 6 committee has claimed. Democratic congresswoman and committee member Elaine Luria introduced a prime-time hearing on Thursday by saying the committee would present evidence to show Mr Trump failed to act while the attack unfolded. “This hearing is principally about what happened inside of the White House that afternoon, from the time when President Trump ended his speech until the moment when he finally told the mob to go home. A span of 187 minutes, more than three hours,” she said.

Note well the shifting goal posts. First hearing: "We will prove that Trump planned, directed, and executed a violent insurrection" Today: "Trump was derelict in failing to stop a mob from entering the Capitol"

They keep forgetting to mention that President Trump offered and encouraged using 10,000 National Guard troops, but the rats rejected them because they wanted an open stage for the FBI agents to goad the crowd and to not interfere with the Capital Police opening doors for the citizens.

I’d like to remind this crazed committee that is was Nancy Pelosi’s responsibility to secure the Capitol Building and grounds. It was Nasty Nan that declined the National Guard that President Trump offered days in advance. Nancy owns this. President Trump could not force the Guard on her. Additionally, this committee knows they have nothing and they are lying knowing the media will run with anything they say. I am sure I will see many Republicans coming out making this case. McCarty and McConnell have most likely already scheduled a press conference. The fact that there has been no organized rebuttal from these two yahoos, tells you everything you need to know about them. They are part of the cabal that is trying to destroy President Trump. The rest of the bunch of flaccid Republicans have shown little honor or integrity either.

What did they want Trump to do, as if he had driven to the Capitol building to tell the rioters to “knock it off” the Democrats would have claimed that Trump was there to lead the “insurrection”. The time to actually defend the Capitol was days before January 6th with Pelosi being the responsible official who effectively turned down an offer by Trump to provide federal troops to protect the Capitol building knowing that there would be a massive demonstration near the Capitol building on January 6th. Notice that the Democrat inquisition committee did not call Pelosi to testify as to why she failed to properly protect the Capitol building?

Trump did act about a week before by offering 20 thousand National Guard troops to protect the Capitol. His offer was turned down by Piglosi and the mayor D.C. This tells me there was a plan already in place to allow people to come into the Capitol and to blame Trump for it.

Didn't i just read he sent out two Tweets but Twitter took them down? His main message platform, some 60 million followers, was Twitter, since he was censored by the MSM. And, they are presuming all who committed violence were actual Trump supporters, or that he had some sort of control over them. Believe a known Antifa member was inside the Capitol dressed in Trump gear, supposedly as a "reporter", and actually filmed the Ashley Babbitt shooting. Their whole message is trying to link him to the word insurrection and the 14th amendment which would prohibit him from running for office again.

There were 10 times more galaxies just like our own Milky Way in the early Universe than previously thought. This cosmic insight comes from one of the first studies of images captured by Nasa's new James Webb Space Telescope. One of its authors, Prof Christopher Conselice from the University of Manchester, UK, said that Webb could "zoom in on the early Universe". This yielded insights about objects in space that "we knew existed but didn't understand how and when they formed". Disc galaxies dominate the "galaxy population" today," the researcher explained. "Our own galaxy is a disc, Andromeda (our nearest neighbour, which is 2.5 million light-years from Earth) is a disc.

Steve has mentioned the brief heat wave that brought unprecedented high temperatures to much of England, and elsewhere in Northwestern Europe. The heat wave didn’t last long–the high today in London was 79 degrees–but it prompted an outpouring of global warming hysteria. I was reminded of visiting London around 27 years ago, in April. Meanwhile, we’re being told embarrassing things that make it sounds like we have a toddler in the office — including that Biden “cleaned his plate” and ate all his dinner. I wanted to share this additional video from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who insisted to the reporters that they have heard “directly” from the doctor
