Another ‘Good Guy With A Gun’ Episode
Destroys The Left’s Anti-Gun Narrative

The fact that our Second Amendment right to bear arms is protected, or better stated “shall not be infringed,” is one that irks our friends on the left, perhaps more so than any other Constitutional right. Their attitude tends to be, “Damn you and your rights, we’ll do all the infringing we want.” They typically crank up their volume on such assertions after a tragic school shooting and do their best to ignore episodes that show the benefit of private gun ownership. After two brutal incidents in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York, in May, gun rights opponents were pushing hard on their narrative. Assault weapons are unnecessary, they told us.

Criminologists, professors at universities who study crime and criminals, have long reported that between 500,000 and 2,000,000 times EVERY YEAR, a good guy with a gun prevents a violent attack or saves a life. Anti-gun rights folks have attacked these scholarly reports endlessly for 30+ years, but no amount of "reinterpretation" has been able to make these research results "go away". They are real. Every time a new report is compiled, the results are very similar. A lot of "defensive gun uses", perhaps 90%, involve a would be victim pulling out a gun and the would be attacker running away, no injuries on either side and no police report is ever filed, the incident over in a few seconds. I have heard several such stories from friends over the years. They happen more frequently than the anti-gun folks want to believe or want you to know. And these prominent cases, where one or many lives are clearly saved by a violent criminal shot or killed by a law abiding citizen continue to happen at a regular rate, too. The media tries to not cover these news events, they try to make them dissappear. Good guy with a gun stories blow up the anti-gun narrative, and makes the leftists and the media very angry.....they are unhappy when lives are saved.

These Celebs watch too many scripted movies where the bad guys negotiate with their victims or police. In the real world, these demented, liberal young men come in and kill no negotiation. It’s over in two minutes with many dead or over in 15 seconds with minimal casualties when a good guy intervenes.

A Liberia-flagged tanker carrying about 700,000 barrels of Russian fuel oil arrived in Cuba last week, the Latin American news website Infobae reported on Sunday, noting that the shipment demonstrated that Moscow was not only supporting Cuba’s communist regime but also finding outlets for oil stock shunned by the West in response to Russia’s latest war with Ukraine. “The Liberia-flagged Aframax tanker Suvorovsky Prospect arrived in Cuba’s Matanzas port [on July 14] carrying about 700,000 barrels of fuel oil, loaded at Russia’s Ust-Luga port. The cargo is worth some $70 million at market prices,” Reuters reported at the time.

Ricky Martin, the self-proclaimed ‘King Of Latin Pop,’ is a global superstar. Many may associate Martin with his 1999 smash hit, Livin’ La Vida Loca which made him a worldwide superstar, along with dozens of other successful songs over the years. Others may recall Martin’s younger days when he was member of the popular and seemingly never-ending boy band Menudo. And still others may simply know the Puerto Rican pop star by his dashing good looks and his frequent appearance on the covers of supermarket tabloids for over two decades. Most Americans know who Ricky Martin is,

The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a position paper Monday that inexorably links two claimed global crises as one – “climate change” and the “decline of democracy.” It says fighting the former can save the latter as long as consumers stop burning coal, oil, and gas in exchange for green renewables. The WEF paper argues for the past 15 years, democracy has been in decline worldwide. To protect and promote freedom, “leading democracies must strengthen their economies and safeguard liberty.”

For so many Americans, particularly over the past ten years or so, politics is viewed as some sort of a game. You’re not voters, you’re fans, only the battle isn’t on a baseball field or a hockey rink, it’s within our government. It’s a phenomenon that has become increasingly evident on both sides of the political spectrum but is clearly more prevalent with our friends on the left. Just like we see with our favorite sports teams, so it is with our favorite political party or ideology. Perhaps next to a Georgia Bulldogs National Championship bumper sticker, we see a Biden-Harris decal displayed with equal pride.

Boris Johnson is set to resign as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom following months of scandals culminating in a Westminster coup from within his own cabinet. Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, the most electorally successful Conservative politician of his generation and perhaps since the days of Margaret Thatcher, will leave office in a similar fashion to the Iron Lady, ousted from power by members of his own government, including Chancellor of the Exchequer Nadhim Zahawi, whom Johnson had installed in the position just the day before. In the immediate future, Mr Johnson will likely stay on as “caretaker” Prime Minister

The Walt Disney Company has given us a multitude of justifications for canceling our Disney Plus subscriptions, throwing away our Lion King DVDs, and pledging to never spend another nickel with the increasingly far-left wokesters controlling the once-great corporation. There has never been a company more worthy of the mantra: Go Woke, Go Broke. But regarding the patronizing of one of their key revenue streams, Disney World, there’s another reason we can add to the growing list motivating us to stay away. That reason comes not from anyone at Disney itself, but rather from the government running the show in the city which Disney World calls home: Orlando, Florida.

he old adage, “Crime doesn’t pay” needs an update. In Democrat-run cities like San Francisco, New York, and Chicago, where soft-on-crime prosecutors and policies have taken hold, tone-deaf political elites drink their wine and eat their brie under the protection of security details at the taxpayer’s expense. Meanwhile, hard-working citizens and business owners are taking it on the chin. Their families aren’t safe to walk the streets, brazen shoplifters help themselves to whatever products they fancy at local supermarkets, and an overwhelming sense of lawlessness pervades everyday life. If you’re a regular citizen or business owner in a blue city, your mindset needs to be adjusted to, “Tolerating crime doesn’t pay.”

President Joe Biden’s approval ratings have been in a historic freefall since shortly after he took office. According to an Associated Press-NORC poll last month, Biden’s overall approval rating here in America was at 39%, a remarkable drop from the 63% he enjoyed in the months following his inauguration. Keep in mind, that the AP is a left-leaning polling outlet meaning that in reality, Biden’s popularity is likely even lower. Biden’s polling amongst Republicans is in the single digits, unsurprisingly, but independents overwhelmingly disapprove of the president, and his numbers are even down with Democrats. The trend is unmistakable. Americans think Biden is a lousy president. But what about internationally?
