Never doubt the ability of the anti-gun left to twist themselves into knots to defend their nonsensical agenda, and sure enough, that’s happening after a good guy with a gun dropped a mass shooter in Indiana.
As RedState reported on Sunday evening, a man entered a mall in Greenwood Park, IN, opening fire and killing three people. Before he could continue his rampage though, a “good samaritan,” as described by the police, used a concealed pistol to take the shooter out. But while most celebrated, that ending was very inconvenient for the narrative of those who, just hours earlier, had been using a report out of Uvalde, TX,

Who bothers with Twitter pontificating by unknown fools like this Shannon Watts? Whoever heard of “Moms Demand Action"? Whose views are challenged? Whose minds are changed? This is all blather. BTW: What do Dads demand these days?

Dems destroy the babies IN the womb, Infanticide AFTER birth, starve the toddlers and then start the kids on a steady diet of porn, puberty blockers, sex changes and pedophilia through school. Teach kids to hate each other because of their skin color or race or sex (which the child has no power over). Good job dems. And then you wonder what went wrong when bad things happen?
Dems you cheapen life and teach hate and violence. What could go wrong? YOU produce and develop the school shooters and mass shooters. Do you know that the AR rifle was developed on the 1960's? Why, all of a sudden are they becoming a problem? I think it is because of abortion and teaching everything BUT academic education. Your "social engineering" has destroyed these children.
Also, How did this kid in IN and TX have money to buy a gun? The kid in IN had just been evicted from his apartment. These kids have no job or P/T job. No money to live off of but they have thousands to buy a gun? We had more guns in the past and NOW they are an issue because society has ruined them and cheapened life. Dems are to blame-as always. They have no good morals and no descent values. They should be ashamed AND take responsibility for the damage they have done.
Also these shooters are known to the Feds and local Police AND the schools and communities. Red Laws will not help.

They want collateral damage. That way they will be able to declare that there is no law they can pass to keep you safe. The only thing to do is to disarm the whole nation. Look at all the news stories about home owners defending themselves. Oh, wait. Don't see to many of those, do you? I know the stories are out there. I have read them on conservative sites. If 20% or more legally carried some of these nut jobs might think twice. One carried in guns to kill and one carried a gun to protect. And the overly stupid progressives equate the two men as being the same. If you can carry please do so. You never know when you might need to protect yourself, those you love or become a hero. I lived across the street from Greenwood for many years. Now live about two miles away from there. It's right down the road. My daughter-in-law works at the apartment complex where the shooter lived. And as everyone says after the fact. "I can't believe this would ever happen here". If he had not been taken out he would have killed scores of people. That young man did the right thing. He was in the right place at the right time. Thank you to him for reacting so bravely.

Mouthy fools screetching do not tarnish Mr. Dicken's life saving act of great bravery and fine marksmanship in the slightest. I am serious in saying that he deserves a medal. Many cities have some sort of a medal for great accomplishments, perhaps they do in that town, or they could create one.
These nasty little whiners only lower themselves with their tantrums. Unhappy that lives were SAVED? Then your opinion doesn't matter at all.

#3 is correct. Good guys VERY publicly protecting people from violent killers upsets their agenda to disarm us all. And many who are not involved with the topic much, may think "My goodness, that young man saved many lives. Perhaps having good people armed isn't a bad thing like they say it is."
And THAT kind of thoughts just infuriates the antigun types. The antigun left work endlessly to make people fearful of armed citizens.....and years of work in that direction is wiped out by a great example like this one. It really makes them mad.
And the news media HATES to report stories like this, and usually just won't do it. But this one is too big, too well known, they CAN'T hide it , can't bury it, can't make it "disappear". And that angers the leftist
antigun media types, so they seek out ANYONE to report on with an anti-self defense view. So we hear about these mealy mouthed nothing whiners of no significance, as if they mattered. They don't.

And don't forget that only six weeks ago, a woman stopped another violent attacker with a rifle by using her legal handgun in West Virginia.

The antigun folks want you to believe it can't happen, it never happens, that a good person with a gun stops a bad person with a gun.
It happens with some regularity, and with more states having more reasonable laws on being legally armed, more good people will be armed and will stop bad people more often.

I'm not alone in thinking that forces at play to disarm us tacitly facilitate these nut cases.
Last line of the Bonchie column: Anyone suggesting that it would have been better to not have an armed 'good samaritan' around is essentially stumping for a higher body count to support their political narrative. Please remember to use appropriate code to close italics so that remainder of thread is not affected.

Don't mess with Indiana. My sister and I both live in Indiana. We both have cc permits. She's in the same county as this mall. My sister has a better shooting score than her husband. She's more accurate and he's faster. Her instructor is working on getting her speed up. She's wanting my husband and me come up and practice with them at the shooting range they go to. This makes me want meet up and practice more. The county where this mall is is very Republican and there are a lot of shooting ranges to practice. Heck I live within 3 firearm dealerships myself and a shooting range in my Indiana county.

Sorry for the 2nd post but the elites have armed security that use the same (or military grade weapons) to protect them but want to take away the very guns that they pay for for their protection.
Tell AOC and the rest to give up THEIR security and see what happens.

If this Karen or her family had been in that mall she would have a whole different perspective. That’s why these jackals should never be in charge of anything.

The AR-15 is most certainly NOT a "Weapon of War". To the best of my knowledge, there is not a single military organization in the world that uses the semi-automatic only AR-15 rifle as a battle rifle. Most that use the AR pattern rifle use the M-16 or M-4 selective fire versions. If there is a military that uses the AR-15, I could almost guarantee they would lose any battlefield engagement.

The most soulless of the anti-gun zealots are outwardly disappointed that Mr. Dicken acted as he did. Their rabid ideological opposition to the Second Amendment and to any legal use of firearms leads them to agonize about ... what? That Mr. Dicken's uncannily accurate ten shots saved perhaps several dozens lives? Would they be happier if the spree shooter had killed the dozens he hoped to kill? Yes. They're despicable humans, and they're overcome by ignorance, stupidity, and by evil.
FTA: "There wasn’t a lack of firepower or ability in Uvalde. There was a lack of will to take the shooter out. Focusing on the number of guns present (all law enforcement) and pretending the shooter in the classroom was some insurmountable force is ludicrous. An armed SRO or teacher could have absolutely stopped or limited the carnage because when you are in the midst of an active shooter situation, you don’t have the luxury to stand around waiting for orders."
No one is coming to your aid. Not even the police. Who told me that? A policeman friend. Your security is up to you.

RE #6:
I had not heard of that incident in WV. We need to see more of these stories and spread them to others, if we are not doing so already.

Thank you #6 for your post. As a former West Virginian born and raised I keep on the lookout for stories there. As far as the Indiana shooting goes that young man saved lives that day. Period end of quote. Do I need to repeat the line?
