Two white supremacist perps arrested for murder in SoCalif. Are they out on bail yet? That seems to be the modus operandi of the Calif DAs. If not why not? Come on DAs, tell us why not? You allow it all the time.

This is an excellent article on an oddly uplifting story. The almost immediate capture and arrest of a 20 year old criminal and his older sidekick after what was literally a “reign of terror” in the early morning hours in these relatively small communities. I recommend you read it. Law enforcement is not dead, nor is the prosecution of those who commit crimes against our citizens.

I guess the prospect of closing all the 7-11's in LA motivated the police authorities.

If the 7-11's close, where are the cops going to get their donuts in the middle of the night? Seriously, if the DA's in the Democ'RAT-run cities would properly back up the cops, the bulk of this nationwide urban destruction would come to -what my Mom used to call- 'a Screeching Halt". One glance at the booking photos just to make sure...... Yep, two more 'Standard Description Number One'.

Armed citizens could've ended this on their first attempt. Doesn't do much for the families of those killed.

But will they be indicted, convicted and held in prisons for many, many years? In California, it seems like too often the system entirely breaks down at several different levels after the perps are arrested, putting more innocent people at risk AGAIN when these violent people should be isolated for decades from normal people.

On Monday night's NBC Nightly News, after spending the first five minutes of the broadcast panicking over a heat wave in the middle of July, anchor Lester Holt and correspondent Anne Thompson chalked the warm weather up to "climate change" and sought to blame Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) for blocking the Biden administration's radical climate change agenda which would drive inflation up further by pumping more money into the economy.  "This severe weather certainly underscoring the increasing role of climate change and the challenges America faces in trying to combat it"

The summer of 2022 is a season of deepening and widespread discontent, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. The survey finds the public’s outlook on the state of the country the worst it’s been since 2009, while its view on the economy is the worst since 2011. And nearly 7 in 10 say President Joe Biden hasn’t paid enough attention to the nation’s most pressing problems. Biden’s approval rating in the poll stands at 38%, with 62% disapproving. His approval ratings for handling the economy (30%) and inflation (25%) are notably lower. Rising costs are a primary economic pressure for most Americans: 75% call inflation and the cost of living

Gallup released the results of a new poll today showing that Americans’ faith in the media, both newspapers and television news, is at a record low point. Americans’ confidence in two facets of the news media — newspapers and television news — has fallen to all-time low points. Just 16% of U.S. adults now say they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers and 11% in television news. Both readings are down five percentage points since last year… A majority of Americans have expressed confidence in newspapers only once — in 1979,

The role of the White House Press Secretary is supposed to be to convey the position of the Biden Administration. But it’s one heck of a tough job because it also involves cleaning up after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who so frequently make a mess of things. It doesn’t help when the person who is the press secretary keeps stepping in it herself. Here’s Karine Jean-Pierre agreeing, at least in part, that what Kamala Harris said — comparing the Supreme Court opinion returning the decision on abortion to the states to slavery — was right. So not only did Kamala say a monumentally stupid

President Biden on Sunday lashed out at reporters who asked if he regretted his fist bump with Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, who approved the 2018 operation that killed journalist Jamal Khashoggi, according to U.S. intelligence assessments. “Why don’t you guys talk about something that matters?” Biden told the reporters at the White House after returning from Saudi Arabia. “I’m happy to answer a question that matters.” The fist bump received widespread criticism as a sign that Biden was cozying up to Saudi leaders. Biden previously vowed to make Saudi Arabia “the pariah that they are”

As Ed described earlier today, President Biden is taking some heat for his fist bump with Mohammed Bin Salman. So much for Saudi Arabia being a “pariah state.” But after the fist-bump Bidedn and MBS held a private meeting, meaning there were no cameras in the room. Team Biden, perhaps trying to soothe some of the people upset about the fist bump, is claiming that Biden confronted MBS about the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. President Biden said Friday night that he brought up the murder of Jamal Khashoggi during his closed-door meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and told the prince that he considered him to blame.

Joe Biden has often tried to pretend he’s a tough guy who’s not to be messed with. During the 2020 campaign, he humorously claimed that Putin didn’t want him to be president because he was the only candidate who’d ever “gone toe-to-toe with him.” Biden has similarly talked a lot of tough talk about Saudi Arabia and even called the Saudi kingdom a global “pariah” due to its poor human rights record and the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. And then, of course, he went over to Saudi Arabi this week, fist-bumped with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), and maybe even had a little sleepover, for all we know.

More than 150 buses traveling from Arizona and Texas have transported nearly 6,000 migrants to the nation’s capital over the past three months, and Democrats in Washington are complaining that they cannot accommodate the mass releases. Washington, D.C.'s homeless shelters are filling up because Texas Governor Greg Abbott is sending busloads of migrants from his state to the nation's capital, Mayor Muriel Bowser claimed Sunday morning. The D.C. mayor is requesting that Abbott stop preventing migrants from getting to their final destinations. Arizona's Governor Doug Ducey followed Abbott's lead earlier this summer as they both started sending migrants from their respective states to D.C. to take some of the load off of the migration crisis hitting border states. Due to this initiative, homeless shelters in the nation's capital are starting to cap out with these asylum-seekers.
