'Many' US Secret Service text messages written between January 5 and January 6 last year have been deleted, the Homeland Security Inspector General said in a stunning letter on Thursday.
The messages were allegedly erased after the inspector general's office asked the law enforcement office for electronic communications as part of its probe into the US Capitol attack.
The letter, first obtained by CNN, is addressed to the top members of the House and Senate Homeland Security Committees.
The House panel told DailyMail.com it would be opening an investigation into the matter.

So? The service provider still has copies of them on their systems. Or are the forsworn scum balls having their texts not saved by the provider? Some animals are more equal, eh? Destruction of information ought to be made a hanging offence, since these commies are supposed to know the law.

Hopefully the deleted text messages do not support Mark Meadows aid that testified before the J6 unselect committee that said demanded trip to Capitol or other events.

Following the FBI now the Secret Service is down on the path of corruption. Nice how we can't trust anyone any longer.

The DOJ is running another Operation COINTELPRO, just as it did from the 1950s to the early 70s. Only this time, the target is grassroots populism.
I've long suspected the "Proud Boys" are a creation, or a manipulated puppet of this new "COINTELPRO". it seemed to come from nowhere, invented out of whole cloth.

in every investigation into democrat corruption initiated in the last 20 years almost all of the subpoenaed communications between the dem operatives mysteriously disappeared. There was alway an excuse and no matter how absurd it was accepted without comment by the media.
Why should it be any different this time?
Oh, thats right, Orange man bad.

And so they SHOULD delete them. The primary mission of the Secret Service is the physical protection of the President. They cannot fulrill this mission if they allow themselves to be dragged into partisan or inter-branch disputes. The Secret Service should be invisible to a President, but cannot be if a President must always view agents as potential spies for the opposite political party for for Congress. Delete it all.

I know - - from Sean Hannity - - that 99.999999% of all FIB agents are honest and patriotic.
I wonder if Sean know the percent for Secret Service agents? I'll bet it's even higher - - like 99.99999999999%.

It was only a week ago that James Murray, Director of the Secret Service, announced his retirement slated for the end of this month, if you recall. This is so very typical for a Fed to do whenever they know the shoe is about to drop. The Rats run the Ship of State.

The "Secret Service" didn't delete messages. Someone within the SS did. They need to be held accountable for their actions, rather than just saying the SS did it.

Ah...another investigation to determine what REALLY happened...nervous Nancy stopped the national guard that President Trump asked for because she knew that the fed agents were going to ramp up the demonstrators and then she would have her excuse for impeaching President Trump...again...again...again...she's more vicious that WE ever imagined...ever more so than crooked hillary and her pathetic daughter sitting in a car telling the world how wonderful they are...

Requested information of evidence for a "trial" is no longer available or obtainable?
No problem! All charges dropped, all prisoners released, J6 committee investigations end.
A resonable competent attorney should be able to push this point without problem, except in a crooked commie kangaroo court.

There were no weapons at the Capitol, at least not in the hands of Trump supporters. As we repeat again and again, Ashley Babbitt was murdered by a Cap-cop who got a tap on the wrist for his deed. Many January 6 folks are in jails without bail, for more than a year. The real injustices continue.
But meanwhile, there was a "peaceful transfer of power" on January 20th, and the doddering corruptocrat and pervy perv, whose own son calls him "Paedo Pete", wreaks havoc on our economy, our lives, and staggers around the world with such pomposity but such a fraud.
The REAL insurrection began in 2016-17 against Trump and on into and through two impeachments based in flimsy, concocted, fraudulent claptrap.
