A Texas politician has revealed that the Uvalde cop seen checking his phone in the early stages of the Robb Elementary School massacre is the husband of slain teacher Eva Mireles.
She was one of the 21 people who were killed by crazed gunman Salvador Ramos at Robb Elementary School on May 24.
In the footage of the shooting that was leaked on July 12, Officer Ruben Ruiz was shown entering the school and checking his phone. He was one of the first group of officers to respond to the initial 911 call.
The day after the leak, Texas state Rep. Joe Moody tweeted the picture

We can natter on till hell freezes over and it won’t bring anyone back. Time to stop chewing over clickbait headlines n tabloids and let the good people of Uvalde deal with this. They are mourning their family members and friends. They will manage to deal with this.

I am afraid #1 unless action is taken and quickly something more bad is going to happen.

How many children needed to die to make this another good horror story for the anti-Second Amendment thugs?
WHY did they stand there while the children's screams were on-going amidst the gunfire?
No amount of pumping hand-sanitizer will wash the blood off those officers' consciences. Out! Out, damned spot!
I cannot watch this story again; I can't stand knowing those children or many could have been saved while cops stood by... too horrible.

Someone said today the law enforcement people in Uvalde were 'in on it.' Can this be true? I cannot wrap my mind around a bunch of heavily armed men standing there letting one kid slaughter little children.

I can understand that a person might use hand sanitizer while waiting for an order. It seems that under crazy circumstances, given what he knew was happening, that it might cross his mind that he would be handling bloody kids and would want to be clean to provide medical aid.

I believe now that all those stand-by cops were demonrats who could hardly wait for the maximum number of people to be killed so that they could further help demonrats change gun laws.

I see a phone in his left hand, and a handgun in his right hand. That is not disarmed.

#1, Unfortunately, they want us to move on and forget about this tragedy. It does not fit their narrative so it must be pushed aside. However, this must be a warning to every other police department and officer on the force. What happened in Uvalde is totally unacceptable. Good does come from horrific situations and my hope is that every police department in the country will learn from this heart wrenching loss. If I had a child or grandchild that was involved in any way, I would want to bring transparency and truth to that day. I would demand it. Those precious souls are no longer with us because of the abject failure of law enforcement. This is a profession that receives much praise deservedly so, but when they screw up, they have to absorb it and learn from it. In my opinion those officers should have turned in their badges and guns the next day. When men are given great responsibility, they must be held accountable. Precious lives were lost because of their inaction. Americans want and deserve to know the outcome. We are all invested in that community and want to know these families are satisfied with the result of the investigation.

Check for financial connections to George Soros and Gun-Grabbing Marxist Democrats -- the ones wanting this to go away.

One tiny good thing that resulted from this horror is that Fox News dropped interviewing the mayor of Uvalde about the illegal alien invasion.

The only alternative explanation to this seemingly unnecessary tragedy, other than acute cowardice, is that there was a plan for the kids to die. If that's the case then things are far worse than we can imagine. The results demand the resignations of all of them. Hopefully somebody will talk soon.
