EAGLE PASS, Texas — One Texas border town now leads the nation in migrant crossings and apprehensions. Nearly 10,000 migrants illegally crossed the border into Eagle Pass, Texas, during the past six days, according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S Customs and Border Protection.
Once a city with fewer migrant apprehensions than most other southwest border cities, Eagle Pass is now ground zero for the Biden administration’s continuing border crisis. The source says migrant apprehensions in the city numbered nearly 10,000 over a six-day period ending on July 9 making it the leading crossing point in the nation for migrants.

Gov Abbott, how many of the 10,000 were arrested by state and local police and returned to port of entry? That’s your new bait and switch right?

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro "Monster" Mayorkas and Catholic Charities most likely cheering on the INVADERS. Then it's midnight flights to Welcome Wagon booths.

I’m convinced Brandon and the other fools in his Cabinet hate the state of Texas. Maybe they would care, if these illegals were dumped in their neighborhoods.

TOTALLY ignoring his Oath of Office, Biden is derelict on the job! What can be his motivation for causing this illegal invasion?

This is a state of emergency for the State of Texas. Every Republican elected representative for the state should do a joint presser to lay out what is happening and to stand up strong against the human trafficking that is going on! Children are being trafficked and media and government talks as though this is not happening at all.

Just to put that into perspective, the population of Eagle Pass, Texas is something like 30,000.
That means, every three days, the population of the town doubles unless the Border Patrol can move those folks out of town fast. Could any community handle that type of invasion force?
Plus, Eagle Pass isn't the easiest place to get to, especially on the Mexican side. If I was going to cross the border, I'd choose the Rio Grande Valley or Laredo. Easier to get to and easier to move out of. Eagle Pass (and Del Rio) are on the southwest side of the border, it's not easily accessible even by air travel or bus. Somehow, our visitors have figured out that the Del Rio sector is now the "soft spot" on the border.

Why is Texas letting this happen?
“Most of the remaining 7,000 were released to a local non-government shelter in the city where the migrants will be afforded transportation further into the United States.“
This makes no sense.
Does Texas need Lt Gen West as Governor?

Bad situation. But it'll stop after that, right? What happens six days after that - another 10-12,000? Does this plan have a happy ending? Any kind of ending?

I don't think this can be stopped. We are doomed which was exactly the desired outcome.

Fat chance you could sell your home here and move to a better part of Texas. I would bet that all of the Eagle Pass residents have Biden signs on their front lawns.

How will all of these persons be fed, clothed, housed, educated and given medical attention when needed??
From the Article: "More than 150 migrants came from Cuba. More than 100 members of the groups were from Colombia, Peru, Nicaragua, Iran, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Chile, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, and Mexico."
People are coming from countries all over the World--How much longer can this INVASION go on before someone will take action?
Our politicians seem oblivious to this. Its time for We the People to cause action to be taken-- this gets WORSE every day!

Abbott said he had finished the wall. Abbott said he was busing them to DC. Abbott said he was returning them to the border. Abbott said he had an agreement with the governor of Mexico to stop them. Abbott said he was deploying the Texas National Guard to the border. Abbott said illegals crossing into Texas would be arrested. And yet, we are told hundreds of thousands are coming into Texas each week. Texas is being invaded. Texas does not have enough resources to take care of the people they have got now. This is overwhelming the infrastructure of Texas, and creating a lawless state.

And if public schoolrooms have perhaps 35% of the class being unable to speak, write, or read English, the concept of "American Excellence" will continue to diminish. (A big goal of the "Hate America" crowd who wouldn't believe it to begin with.)
Teachers will spent most of their time keeping order and directing the smart and super-smart to find something to keep themselves busy in the Busy Box.

In re #15. We have a huge Hispanic population in my small town in Georgia. I was talking to a teacher who the real problem was that many of the poorest immigrants are illiterate in their own language. In other words, they can’t even read or write Spanish. I don’t know how you go about teaching them anything.

Texans cheered the news that Gov. Doolittle had sent some 1,700 of them to DC on buses, at considerable cost to the taxpayers. Guess you're gonna need a lot more buses. Maybe Catholic Charities can lease you a few.

All-hat Abbott...now what's he going to do, besides thanking the almighty for Beto in November? All this pusillanimous pussyfooting while unknown numbers die and others are delivered into slavery and prostitution both in Texas and nationally. The diffidence Abbott exudes is infuriating and heartbreaking. But, he is what Texans want. I truly can't imagine why living there.
