HHS gives NYU $40,000 to study why children
'favor Whiteness and maleness'

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded over $40,000 for New York University (NYU) researchers to conduct a study on why children "favor Whiteness and maleness over other identities." The project titled, "Societal assumptions regarding typical personhood and their effects on reasoning development," seeks to uncover the developmental processes by which children "acquire the belief that White males represent the default person – a pattern rooted in the ideologies of androcentrism (centering the experiences of men) and ethnocentrism (centering the experiences of White people) prevalent in the United States," according to the grant summary on USASpending.gov.

Duh. Because we built a wild frontier into the world's major superpower. We moved it forward from handmade farm implements to robotics. We built that when everybody else was throwing spears at each other and worshiping stars, moons and planets.

How about a dash of truth about this grant? Note that there is pre-doctoral mentoring of the recipient on developing research skills. Translation - too many black doctoral students in the social sciences are not good students - good meaning that they are learning, writi9ng well, and can articulate what their studies are about. Some of those students 'mau mau' their way through their coursework, bullying their professors and administrators, and wind up with a doctorate that is of little achievement. (A black doctoral student at my university, 40 years ago, an affirmative action admit, demanded that the Dean of Graduate Studies provide a person to do her dissertation writing. The logic she offered was that she should not have been admitted to our university, but since she was admitted to our university, that created the obligation of the university to make sure she graduated with her doctorate. The university president agreed with her, and her dissertation was written by an Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies.)

I could use $40K to study why HHS DIS-favors Whiteness and Maleness. But, first I would, of course, need $500K to define "Whiteness". But, even before that I would need another $500K to define "Maleness". People who don't know what a woman is, should probably not just assume they know what a male is...

Let's say we have a bag of M&Ms in which 61.6% of the candies are orange. If we then emptied the bag into a bowl and asked people to comment on the contents, it's likely most would mention that orange seems to be the predominant color. But does that mean orange is the "favored" color or that Orange Supremacy or Orange Privilege are somehow responsible?

Some like to argue that marriage, family, and professional success don’t mix. The opposite has been proven this week at Wimbledon, tennis’ most prestigious Grand Slam, by the performance of a German wife and mother of two. Thirty-four years of age and ranked outside the top 100, Tatjana Maria had never advanced beyond the third round in 34 previous Grand Slam attempts. 34! But this year, she made it all the way to the semifinals. Maria’s game is a family affair. Her entourage on tour includes coach and husband Charles-Edouard Maria (a former player himself), and her daughters, eight-year-old Charlotte, and 15-month-old Cecilia.

Let’s get one thing straight: The Left doesn’t care about women with unplanned pregnancies. They only care about murdering babies and keeping Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer-funded grift going. You know how we know? Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Eichmann) is trying to shut down crisis pregnancy centers that have helped untold millions of women — and saved the lives of more than 800,000 babies, just since 2016 — by providing prenatal care and ultrasounds, parenting classes, counseling, diapers, other baby supplies including formula and furniture, and access to social services. But that’s not good enough for Liz Warren because those centers refuse to shed innocent blood.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that the state's widespread use of ballot drop boxes is illegal, delivering a huge victory to election integrity activists and a stinging rebuke to state officials who had deployed the boxes to major success in the 2020 election. In the court's 4-3 ruling, the justices rebuked the Wisconsin Elections Commission for distributing the boxes across the state, arguing that only the Wisconsin legislature had the authority to employ their use. "Only the legislature may permit absentee voting via ballot drop boxes. WEC cannot,” the court said in the ruling.
