An insurance company in Southlake, Texas, vowed to pay medical bills for workers wanting to have babies as a response to the Roe v. Wade decision. In a social media post on Monday, Buffer Insurance said it “will pay the medical costs for our employees who birth babies” and “Provide paid time off for employees to have maternity & paternity leave.” The company added it would “pay for the medical costs associated with adopting a baby.” “Secular companies are paying the travel costs for employees to abort babies out-of-state,” one of the company’s infographics read. This is the difference between good people and evil people. Good people want to save babies, evil people want to kill them.

My company CEO has announced they will pay for abortions and for travel expenses to the state for the abortion. My question is: will you also pay for workers in China to travel to their forced abortions? But I don't want to be fired on the spot so I will not ask that.

My son’s engineering company in a cherry red state has always helped and given extra time off for adoption-related expenses feeling it’s only fair because other parents get paternity-maternity benefits. Now I think these things already being done by good people running companies will be more public !

The liberals cheer the companies who will provide travel expenses for a woman who wants an abortion. It is far cheaper than paying for maternity leave. These companies are laughing all the way to the bank.

President Joe Biden celebrated Independence Day on Monday, but expressed disappointment about ongoing gun violence and the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “Liberty is under assault, both here and abroad,” he said, alluding to the Supreme Court. “In recent days, there’s been reason to think this country is moving backward, that freedom is being reduced, that rights we assumed were protected are no longer.” The president delivered a speech to the American people from the White House as part of a barbecue with military service members.

A red flag law, a waiting period for gun purchases, licensing requirements, and numerous other gun controls did not prevent the July 4, 2022, Highland Park attack. Mike Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety lists Illinois as the state with the sixth most stringent gun laws in the country. Moreover, Gabby Giffords gun control group gives Illinois a grade of A- on gun control. Illinois has a red flag law, a waiting period for gun purchases, gun owner licensing, domestic violence gun laws, “open carry regulations,” and numerous other gun controls. The gun owner licensing is done via Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) cards.

Everyone yearns to be free. Freedom of choice — free agency — is a divine gift we each receive at birth. It is part of our human nature and it is our ever-present desire. As Thomas Jefferson put it, “the God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time.” Liberty is indispensable to each person’s self-fulfillment and progress. Nowhere but here was a government instituted to the end that the individual’s rights and sovereignty — liberty — would be guaranteed against, and protected from, the state. Government was to be our servant. Liberty was to be the very definition of America, its heart and soul.
