How California's legal cannabis dream
became a public health nightmare: It's

A row of luxury 'healing' creams is guarded by a locked glass cabinet, gilded in gold trim.
The packaging is stylishly minimal – clean and white with small black typeface – and beside the tubs sit decorative, artificial fruit and images of sprawling fields, with a small flyer to remind customers of the high-quality, organic nature of the products.(Snip) I'm in upmarket Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California, in one of the area's many so-called 'wellness' shops, just a stone's throw from designer boutiques such as Gucci and Saint Laurent.

Legalized drugs, another one of the major problems that we have in Xidens America. I don't blame Xiden per se, however, I do blame him and his kind for most of the problems we have including drugs.

Dope is for dopes. Wrecks your brain.
A millennial friend who smoked dope years ago tells me that the current crops of marijuana are far, far more potent than the dope of the 60s and 70s.
The genius medical experts bring us a "vaccine " that cripples and kills yet doesn't seem to protect against the disease, and "harmless " legalized drugs that cause psychosis, addiction, hospitalization and lots of car accidents.
Experts aren't to be trusted.

SO, only morons are "surprised" by legalized addiction becoming a problem. The "anything goes" attitude of Progressives & elites is their imprimateur which says "go right ahead .. it's absolutely SAFE, just like the "vaccines ... just like Fentanyl."" "Yeah, it's "sick" getting high, c'mon man!
Reality just is not enough. Hey, even HUNTER gets to do it, and since he's Creepy Joe's SON, it's just FINE.

Just another example of liberals refusing to accept reality over their dreamworld.

Governments are so vast that their need for tax dollars is insatiable. What next, legalized prostitution? Debtors thrown into bear pits before braying audiences of paying customers?

Legalize it n every state and you’ll have walking dead - dead brains everywhere - so much for the greed for tax dollars!

Hmmmmm. I thought weed wasn’t a gateway drug. I suspect many of the bums living on our streets got their start with a little harmless pot....

Yet Libertarians™ will still trot out the mantra, "The war on drugs is a failure." Legalize everything. Make it easy, safe, and inexpensive (the reverse is true) for people to get high. They would probably let 10 year olds do it if they could. Have heard several anecdotes from family members recently - all involving overdoses. Not a pretty life.

We’ve known for decades that marijuana is a gateway drug and that it can cause psychosis among other things. I came of age in the 60’s and we laughed at the 1930’s film “Reefer Madness”. Not laughing now.
Addiction not only affects the addict - it can destroy the addict’s family and entire community. And now places like CA and CO are getting to experience it first hand. Be careful what you wish for.

Spiraling addiction, psychotic illnesses and hospitals facing a deluge of poisonings and drug-drive accidents - it's California. Really, what's any different?

Never let a crisis go to waste...OR more appropriate, Create a Crisis so the Democraps can look like hero's when they 'solve' it...the only problem is Nothing is ever solved, it just gets worse. Welcome to Californication, and don't forget to bend over and provide your own Vaseline!

Everyone knows how dangerous that marijuana can be but there was too much incentive for the politicians to legalize it. Now, there is a big price to pay.

In California, legalized cannabis is so heavily taxed that the black market is more affordable and profitable and the vaunted tax revenues are not happening. Fentanyl is coming in by the tons ... no mention of that, a much bigger problem by a genuinely addictive drug.
It’s not a gateway drug. Millions of people have smoked pot without moving to anything stronger, or becoming addicts or criminals. The addictiveness of cannabis is in the user, not the weed. Alcohol causes more harm than cannabis to society, if you’re going to go there.
To make the argument that guns aren’t responsible for gun crimes (which is true) and then turn around and say that a common weed makes people into addicts and criminals is a contradiction. It’s people who abuse it, not the thing itself.

Chances are we will see the current Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, an extreme leftist Democrat, run for President in 2024. If successful and once in the White House, clearly he will bring his extremist Democrat California support crew to DC with an agenda that includes transforming the entire USA into what California has become through their cannabis culture.
