With all of the money laundering schemes currently in the works – ‘stimulus’ money, billions in aid to Ukraine, executive orders for… solar panels, endless money for experimental vaccines, etc. – it seems as if the powers at be are literally ‘cashing out’ while they can as they burn the economy down in preparation for the great reset.
In response to the record inflation, which is being caused by reckless and destructive spending by the Biden administration and the Federal Reserve, the FED raised interest rates by 75 basis points last month – the largest increase since 1994 – in an effort to slow the Bidenflation tidal wave.

Don't be surprised if we find out down the road that much of this money is going to groups that subvert the USA.

wait a minute, this money is the "people's" money and the "people" must be advised where the money is going and to whom, this government under the demcommies, is doing everything in the shadows and it's not right and it's not legal, which is exactly how things are done in a communist government

Why are We the People entirely powerless to stop what is clearly destroying us? Where are the leaders on the Right to stand up for all of us who are clearly a majority who want this to stop?

Remember those Trillion dollar appropriations that congress and the senate voted. Well, this is part of it. Each congressman and senator that voted for those spending bills need to be voted out of office.

C'mon man, do you expect China to continue to accept IOUs from a Biden administration that is clearly broke and in desperate need of bribe money to keep the leftists in the dark and stupid? The vote is no longer a reliable means of controlling what We the People want because that process is clearly compromised and cheating is the only way that democrats will ever see power again. We didn't buy all of these firearms to shoot at pop-up targets.

Do you feel like a passenger on the Titanic? Clearly, the ship is going down and all we can do is watch from the lifeboats if we are lucky enough to get on one. The most pertinent question is, where are the Republicans? Do they honestly believe their job is to do nothing when democrats are inpower? They have pretty much given up. Is it on purpose or is it sheer lack of strategy or ideas? Is there not one of them who has any strategy that does not begin in 2023 when they take control? Can they not recognize the danger we are in? Are they lazy, complacent or complicit? Mitch is compromised by the greed his Chinese relatives are feeding. He plays the part of Frank Underwood better than Kevin Spacey does. McCarthy is a milquetoast who will not take control of the renegades undermining our agenda and rooms with toupee boy. We have no strategy, no direction and all the Republican leaders care about is maintaining the status quo. The only thing they can talk about is re-election. They cannot verbally mount an effective opposition. Not all, but the vast majority appear to be clueless as to the danger we are in. That this administration can do the things it is doing with little to no pushback is a strong indictment against these Republicans. Democrats are stealing us blind and making themselves wealthy. They see government service as a license to steal and they do take advantage of it. The entire cesspool on the Potomac should be drained of crooked lying politicians, the Stasi-like alphabet agencies, and the bureaucratic drones that are only there to benefit themselves and the democrat party. We have a serious lack of transparency with respect to the trillions of dollars that passes through this corrupt city. We need independent audits of every agency and we should demand it now. Without the power to steal and lie about it, these fools would be powerless.

It seems that there are no leaders on the Right. They are followers of the Commiecrats in power. They pretend they are being dragged against their will. But in reality, they are only trailing behind; moving more slowly because of their leg irons of cowardice and greed.

Don't get up your hopes, folks.
Not a single Pubbie politician - - including President Trump - - is seriously considering scaling back the size of the federal government. No one is making any effort - - to restore federal power to where it was before the communist FDR expanded it unconstitutionally.
Please let me know when a Pubbie politician says that - - - -
• All federal land outside of DC should be turned over to the states
• No government entity should be able to own, operate, or subsidize education
• The only cabinet departments should be Defense, State, Treasury, and Justice; all others should be abolished
• No money should be confiscated from Person A and handed to Person B - - for any reason whatsoever
• All voting must take place on election day - - in person - - and with paper ballots
Yes - - please tell me when those things happen. Until then - - it's all the usual Pubbie/RINO fakery.

Reverse repo. Had to look up that term.
The fed is 30 trillion in debt. People will only loan the US government money if they can make money in return. It is likely a very small group indeed that have trillions to loan. Many are likely not even American, and they wield an overwhelming amount of influence. If they say 'jump', the fed asks, 'how high?'. When one thinks about this, its not really a surprise. The amount loaned in the article is 2.3 trillion. What about the rest of the fed debt? The amount is likely to be higher. The total US debt is 90 trillion, and that make the amount paid for interest even higher.
The article is correct about interest rates. The higher they go, the more the federal government will have to pay out, and there will always be people out there that will be able to turn something into a fast buck.
Wait until we can't make interest payments, and all these people who are keeping our sinking ship afloat pull their investments.

A terrific post Ida La Pino. Only one argument. If President Trump hadn't been fighting the Left for all of his term....Russia, Russia, Russia, Mueller investigation, 2 impeachments, God knows what else the Left was throwing at him.... he might have gotten around to eliminating some of those useless departments. He did cut yuuuuge amounts of government regulations that were choking and destroying American businesses.

For the record, when the Fed raises or lowers the interest rates to slow or assist the economy,
... it takes 6 months for half of the effect of the rate change to show up in economic activity. Classic example of some dumb yahoo at the switch was Alan Greenspan in 1987 raising the interest rates monthly, July, August, and September, each time evaluating the economic response in just one month. He caused the crash in October of '87.
But a lot of you are too young to remember that. And the press wasn't smart enough to figure out that the events were connected and how.

We can have a sharp recession, and a short one, or we can have a "soft landing"....which means a long, painful, enduring recession for years.
This Fed leader is a moron, and he is guaranteeing a harder time, and a longer period of economic suffering for us all by his arrogant cowardice. JUST DO IT. Raise interest rates high enough to crunch inflation out. Yes, it will hurt, a lot. But it will be over that much sooner. Like ripping off a bandage. Hurts like hell, but not for long. Or you can pull it slowly and painfully for a LONG time.

At some point, when you have a majority, it becomes counter-productive to call on politicians to stand up for your rights. A majority should be able to preserve its rights at the expense of those bent on taking them away but you have to actually act. Freedom has never been automatic.

And by the way, these interest payments are going directly to the companies, financial institutions, and yes, various central banks worldwide that are owned and controlled by the Rothschilds.

I've said this was happening for about two years now. I know leftists are making money off our backs. And it's worse than the normal big business ripoffs. Think of all the people who have gone into politics (not the big names, think of the little unknown folks); they're getting their wealth from somewhere besides kickbacks. All government needs an overhaul, starting with stripping everything down to nothing and slowly rebuilding. Trust me, we'll survive, and we'll learn exactly what we don't need government doing. I'm certain that we don't need 95% of what government exists to do. When Trump cut x number of regulations for every regulation created, people failed to realize regulations were still being created even though more were being deleted. The cunning devils passed bills simply more intense. We need drastic measures. I'm sure there are at least 50% of us in this forum who could make it happen if given the chance. It's a dream, but I'd volunteer.
