Did you know that Karine Jean-Pierre is the first openly gay, black, immigrant White House Press Secretary in history? You’d be hard-pressed not to given that it’s all the administration, and Jean-Pierre herself, seemed to talk about when she was announced as the replacement for Jen Psaki. Psaki has, of course, made the lateral move over to MSNBC. But perhaps, in the midst of all that obsession over identity, the White House should have bothered to make sure she was, you know, actually qualified for that job. The results so far speak for themselves, with Jean-Pierre becoming infamous for staring down at her notes, repeating passages verbatim

When Biden resigns his whole apparatus will go down simultaneously. I curious who and how they will proceed after his demise.

Affirmative Action should never be a preferred job qualification.

This is the trouble with affirmative action. You give a job to someone who obviously doesn't have the credentials to earn it. Then you expect them to do a good job. It just doesn't work that way.

Not a problem. She is fitting in nicely with Kamala and the rest of the administration.

Karine-Jean Pierre checked off all the boxes for inclusion just like every other appointment for every other job opening in Biteme's administration. None needed any qualifications or experience for the positions, they just looked right and were of the correct sexual orientation.

Never saw that coming.
On a similar note, SCOTUS followers are really going to get a kick out of that new "Justice."

The military academies do press releases on their new students. Has any reporter checked the back issues of the Wilmington, Delaware newspaper to see if a news release by the Naval Academy was done on a young Jo Biden?
Separate from that, did the White House do any trial runs on Karine, to see if she could handle the job??

FTA (last paragraph): "And to be sure, I’m not suggesting a black, gay person can’t be a good press secretary. Rather, I’m suggesting this black, gay person isn’t a good press secretary." The same could be said of so many more in this administration. Harris and Buttigieg are the first to cone to mind.

I've worked with people like this--diversity hires who's sole qualification was that they were black. Most of them weren't too bright or effective at their work.

Hope this comment won't upset anyone. But, she is too cute to be a lesbian. Cut her some slack. It isn't easy to tell people they didn't see what they saw, they didn't hear what they heard, and everything is coming up roses. It's like the Monty Python skit about the Dead Parrot. It isn't dead. It's just resting.

The other side of affirmative action is that it sets up its “beneficiaries” for failure. This is a perfect example. But TaliBiden is obsessed with hiring black females. She and Ketanji should never have accepted those positions - they should have realized that they were nothing more than tokens and they should have been offended and disgusted by the offers.

These daily press briefings are a waste of time. Maybe a weekly one would be better. Does anyone watch these unless someone wants to laugh at her ineptness?

Even Kayleigh McEnany would have a hard time covering for Biden. Karine Jean-Pierre was set up to fail, no one can do the impossible.

This administration is filled with "firsts". Perhaps they will eventually get around to bringing in the "first" competent.

The problem for Biden, or whoever is running him, is that Karine, who neatly fits within a number of the categories favored by Democrat identity politics, cannot just be fired as an incompetent affirmative action employee. So to get rid of Karine out of her current job and the White House, Biden will most probably have to promote her to what would be considered in Democrat politics to be a much better job, like the next US Ambassador to Haiti, the land of her ancestors and heritage.

#18 - Yes I have. Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault or due to the fact that all males are racist/sexist. Got real old, real fast. When my (failing) company was acquired by a firm outside of the USA, the AA mentality went out the door.
