The man who masterminded both successful presidential campaigns for former President Obama, strategist David Axelrod, has harsh words for the current Commander-in-Chief saying, “There is this sense that things are kind of out of control and he’s not in command.” Appearing on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” Thursday, he added, “so, you know, this is a very, very fraught environment for him right now.”
The first question that pops into my mind is, does this have Obama’s blessing? It’s hard to imagine that Axelrod, now a CNN commentator, would criticize the Democratic Party’s standard-bearer without running it first by his former boss.

Wednesday’s episode of the Laura Ingraham show on Fox News brought you the story of a new Disney+ series called Baymax, where a male-voiced robot at a supermarket asks a surprised female customer what menstrual products she suggests. Several others shoppers join in to help with recommendations, including from what all appearances is a male with a trans flag on his shirt.
Ingraham points out that “Disney+’s only warning for the show is about flashing white sequences and patterns,” but gives no warning about the embedded trans ideology. My kids are older now, but I doubt I’d be thrilled at them viewing this when they were 5 years old.

t just got easier to get into the Army. Now aspiring soldiers without graduations under their belts can still hang government-issued Sig Sauer M17s from them.
Military.com reports that the U.S. Army is dropping its requirement for enlistees to possess either a high school diploma or GED certificate.
This comes, per the outlet, amid an “escalating recruiting crisis.”
On Thursday, the service announced that individuals may enlist without those previously required education certifications if they ship to basic training this fiscal year, which ends Oct. 1.
To be clear, entrants still have to take a test:
Recruits must also be at least 18 years old and otherwise qualify for a job in the active-duty Army.

There are certain voting blocs on which the two major political parties rely heavily. For Republicans, it’s not only critical that they have the support of Evangelical Christians and non-college-educated white men, but they also need them to be energized and head to the polls. Similarly, the Democrats count on black and Hispanic Americans along with college-educated white women, and failure to secure strong majorities in those demographics can destroy their chances.
But then there are the battleground demographics which are often in battleground states. While Democrats have already seen a devasting and consistent downward trend with Hispanics – one of those aforementioned key constituencies which are currently showing even less

The Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade on June 24th, 2022 in a ruling that many of us were expecting, due to the leaked draft of Justice Samuel Alito’s opinion on the matter as it pertained to Dobbs vs Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which had many American’s rejoicing on the steps of the Court or wherever they stood when they heard the news. But as happy an occasion as this may seem to many, it was also a sad and tragic day that gave way to images of far too many extremely young women raging against the ruling and revealing just how deeply they had been

Disney may have grown relatively quiet after a reported backlash over Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, but the company isn’t losing steam where LGBT support is concerned.
The Mouse recently released its animated Lightyear to less than bountiful box office acclaim, and some might suggest one factor against the film was its same-sex kiss. Disney had cut the scene but reinstalled it after its showdown with Ron DeSantis.
Nonetheless, its next animated project may sport more Rainbow radiance than ever before: Strange World will include a gay teen romance.
Matthieu Saghezchi — Emmy-winning animation production designer — caught a glimpse of the movie while attending France’s Annecy 2022 International Film Festival.

Consider the date of July 14, 2000, and what the world was like on that day: Bill and Hillary Clinton were still in the White House, doing heaven-knows-what. The Twin Towers in lower Manhattan were still standing tall, with very few Americans having ever heard of Al Qaeda. And innovations such as smartphones, Uber, and iPods were only available in our imaginations.
Overall, it was a relatively non-descript, summer day almost twenty-two years ago, but July 14, 2000, is indeed memorable this reason: It is the last time CNN experienced ratings as pathetic as they did last Friday.
According to Mediate:
“CNN capped off a weak week in the ratings on Friday,

Let’s just be frank here, even if the Democrats will not be.
The Jan. 6 Committee has nothing to do with the truth or “justice.” It’s about trying to do all they can to hurt the Republican position before the midterms, and deflect from the horrible results of the policies of Joe Biden and the Democrats. Just as importantly, it’s about doing whatever they can to block out President Donald Trump from ever becoming president again, so they can hold onto their power.
They don’t get that the more they throw down on this exercise, the more it antagonizes most of the American people, who are concerned

If the mainstream media is indeed merely a pseudo communications department of the Democratic Party – which it is – then CNN is the co-chair of that department, with MSNBC as the other. There is no outlet in America’s corrupt collection of leftwing media that better serves as a Democrat cheerleader than CNN, though MSNBC occasionally gives them a run for their money.
Therefore, a question: How bad must the situation be in order for CNN to not only report on bad news for President Joe Biden and his party – which is itself highly unusual – but to also accurately interpret that news and offer a reasonable opinion?

No other tiny human since Napoleon Bonaparte has had the outsized ego of Tony Fauci. OK, Robert Reich is a close third.
The list of things America’s lawn gnome got wrong is legendary. I’ll leave that to other RedStaters to dissect and roast. I am in the midst of a medical “problem” that keeps me from drawing my cartoons, en masse, but I could not resist lampooning the quadruple vaxxed, double-masked oracle of fear and nonsense for contracting COVID.
It was too rich to pass up.

There’s an age-old philosophical thought experiment that asks, “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound?” But after Thursday’s stunt by the Democratic Party known as the ‘Capitol Assault Hearings,’ we have a new, modified version that asks this: “If a failing political party puts on a primetime TV extravaganza but no one tunes in to watch it, will it make any difference in the November elections?” Food for thought.
On Thursday night, only hours before the Dow Jones Industrial Average was sent plummeting by 880 points due to Friday’s devastating report showing that inflation

When Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz is on it, he is on it.
Cruz is at his best on Tuesday during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on H.R.350 — The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022 — yet another politically expedient bill, ushered through Nancy Pelosi’s House in the aftermath of the Buffalo supermarket mass shooting in early May.
As Cruz begins his comments, he lays out three basic propositions on which, he said, Republicans and Democrats alike should be able to agree.
There are 3 propositions that should bring Senate Democrats and Republicans together:
1: Violent crime is unacceptable and should be punished severely.
2: Hate is wrong.
Comments:
Walt is rolling in his grave.
