Bellevue, Wash.—A 31-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of a hate crime and assault after allegedly vandalizing a Bellevue church. The church’s surveillance cameras caught the suspect smashing and spray painting an estimated $10,000 worth of damage at the church and its school. "It's violent, it's an invasion rather than coming to a place hoping to feel peace," said Father Gary Zender with St. Louise Catholic Church.(Snip)Zender said the worst part of Tuesday morning's incident was when the suspect allegedly attacked one of the church's employees. "The individual lunged toward him, tried to hit him with a rock, and he was able to dodge

Comments:

The commies got everything they wanted and more when the agencies kicked the Bad Orange Man to the curb and installed Harris-Biden, and yet they're angrier and more violent than ever. Can this nation be saved? I doubt it.

A group of 68 journalists sent a rare protest letter to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Thursday asking that President Biden’s staff abandon a mysterious pre-screening process and reopen large events to all journalists. The letter signers include prominent TV correspondents, famed veteran reporters and leaders of the White House Correspondents’ Association opposed to restrictions on venues such as the East Room that in past administrations were “open press.” Biden aides have refused to tell the White House Correspondents’ Association the selection criteria and individual reporters have received an array of conflicting explanations, resulting in a widespread belief that the practice is meant to shape the variety

A group of climate activists has started a campaign to randomly slash tires of parked SUVs across the U.S. in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions. The group vowed to conduct similar operations in cities nationwide.(Snip)On Tuesday, the Tyre extinguishers celebrated "disarming" 40 SUVs in New York City's Upper East Side neighborhood. What can you say about governments that, in the midst of a global food crisis, choose instead to feed machines? You might say they were crazy, uncaring or cruel. But these words scarcely suffice when you seek to describe the burning of food while millions starve. There’s nothing complicated about the effects of turning crops into biofuel.(Snip)All the major crop sources of biodiesel have a higher climate impact than the fossil fuels they replace. Rapeseed oil causes 1.2 times as much global heating, soy oil twice as much, palm oil three times. The same goes for ethanol made from wheat. Yet this consideration hasn’t stopped the reopening

House Republicans signaled on Thursday that the exploding crime rate in the District of Columbia might warrant congressional intervention if Mayor Muriel Bowser does not get serious about combating violence. GOP lawmakers on the House Judiciary and Oversight committees say that Ms. Bowser needs to be held accountable for crime spiking by 11% over the past year. “All Americans should feel safe in their capital city, but radical left-wing policies have enabled rampant crime in the District of Columbia,” said Rep. The military is facing the worst recruiting environment since the end of the Vietnam War. The Army is at only 40% of its recruiting numbers for the fiscal year despite raising its maximum enlistment bonus from $40,000 to $50,000. It now offers new recruits up to $10,000 for showing up to basic training in 30 days. And is no longer even asking them for a high school diploma. "We've never offered $50,000 to join the Army," Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen, head of U.S. Army Recruiting Command, said.
