Mayor Eric Adams has urged Staten Island DA Mike McMahon to consider prosecuting ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani for allegedly filing a false police report, to which Giuliani responded by calling for Adams to quit over the city’s crime crisis.
“[Giuliani] falsely reported a crime and the DA should take that seriously,” Hizzoner said during an appearance on the “The Daily Show” Tuesday night, where he both mocked and scorned Giuliani in the ongoing spat between the two.
“You don’t realize. You just assaulted me,” Adams deadpanned after host Trevor Noah embraced him upon entrance —

Eric Adams is burning his credibility at record rates. Being Mayor of the largest city in America is a serious job. He needs to start focusing on the myriad of problems waiting for his attention and stop playing petty politics and catering to leftist whining.

Adams continues to make a donkey of himself (with apologies to donkeys everywhere). I just didn’t want to use the three letter word that is the proper term.

Adams you are just another little garden gnome. Why don't you tackle the city, New York City, you know, and attend to the crime that happens every day. So far you have shown yourself to be just another incompetent black democrat who does not know the first thing of what to do. You might start by stopping to go partying every night in yet another hideous suit that you always wear!

Rudy Giuliani was the best mayor that NYC ever had!!!!!! He cleaned up the city and brought prosperity!!!!
Adams is another useless and evil Demon-Rat who is just in it for his own power, wealth, and fame. He certainly isn't going to do anything to address the real problems of NYC, because all of them are caused by his base voters -- where he certainly doesn't want to offend them!!!

Hey Eric. How about some fairness here. You turn out criminals like flies. You want Rudy G arrested. Gadsooks Eric. You 've really made a male donkey out of yourself. Rudy wasn't lying or anything. Truth is told. Comparable to garbage aimed at Trump. Lest I say any thing more.

Eric Adams? The same idiot who dances with the stars in NYC and cares diddly squat about New Yorkers? Calling for prosecution of the Mayor who turned NYC around? If anyone needs to be prosecuted for crimes not protecting NYC citizens, it is Adams!!

I had no expectations that Adams would be a good mayor. I did however expect that he would be better than DeBlasio.
New Yorkers deserve the government that they voted for, good and hard.

Rudy is correct. Eric Adams is out of his league! He is incompetent and NYC is starting to look like Chicago. When the people of NYC get fed up with this guy they will be calling for resignation.

If New Yorkers have already forgotten the tireless and effective job that Giuliani has done for them then they deserve the little pompous ass known as Adams and can live in their new urban jungle for decades. It just goes to show you that most Americans do not deserve real heroes if they can sink to the bottom so quickly.

Adams is despised by most in this city. He got elected in a rigged proportional primary against other candidates even more radical than he, and then against the worthy and tough Curtis Sliwa. People here don't turn out (and that is one reason why Zeldin won). Now all the UESers, UWSers, and Park Slopers are horrified at murders on their doorstep. And this joke of a mayor, who speaks like his education stopped at 8th grade, goes after Giuliani who got hit in the back, cursed out--all on tape--and charged by NYPD officers. 100 NYPD detectives are retiring today...what does that tell you?

If you follow Eric Adam's logic, anyone who has ever filed a police report and the charges are later reduced by the prosecutor's office should also be arrested. Adam's is another example of the Democrats weaponizing the judicial system against their political opponents.

Why do we need a halfrican South African to interpret the news for us?
And who believes Twinkletoes Adams came up with the line himself about the hug from Trevor?
Has NYC become ungovernable, no matter who the mayor is?
Does Twinkletoes ever go to work?

You have to forgive the Mayor after all he was promoted on the NYC police department with the two list system. The white list where the guys score 95 and doesn't get promoted and then Adams, who comes out first on the black list with a 75 score and gets promoted. Somehow this systemic racism toward the white officers taking the test transforms Adams to a legend in his own mind. As we can see it doesn't do much for the people of NYC especially the ones forced to flee.

Will Adams prove to be a worse mayor than DeBlasio? I just do not understand why people continue to vote for democrats when they prove to be disasters. Every city that has a democrat in charge suffers from a high crime rate. Who wants to live in these hellholes? I guess that’s why I live in flyover country. If that is big city life, it holds no appeal for me.

What a piece of work...adams is so interested in attention to his fashions and dating starlets that he's not running the city...and when a real mayor...Guliana who stopped crime and handled the attack on the towers in record time...adams lashes out because he knows deep down...I'm a fool....New Yorkers got what they voted for...a blowhard.

I agree with every post here. OTOH, It doesn't look like Giuliani was harmed in any way; slapped and insulted. In my opinion, I would would chalk it up to being a prominent person and these things happen. Still, the police report was legitimate and should be regarded as such.

This is how the power structure of the DNC operates. It is
no different than organized crime. Most Democrat leaders are gangsters. And
they get away with it having soldiers (MSM, attorney general, FBI, and more)
protecting these unamerican thugs. Khrushchev warned us. It takes a communist
to know a communist.

Adams was totally useless in his prior positions and now as Mayor, just the other day, he discovered that NYC is in deep doo doo. What a loser.
A mother pushing her child in a carriage was assassinated on the upper east side last evening. It took this sack of suds over two hours to get to the scene. I asked, where the frig was he? He's the damn mayor. He's got a police detail that drives like no one. He's got a helicopter and if he needs it he's got a boat at his disposal. NYC is done. And he was the best of the lot.
Also, not sure about all the hostility toward Lee Zeldin. I live in Congressman's Zeldin's district and have know Lee since he was first elected to the Congress, defeating a very corrupt democrat. I've worked on his campaign. He is smart, honest, hardworking, a Trump guy, and he is a real conservative. He ain't no stinkin' rhino. While Andy Giuliani has a promising career ahead of him, he has never, ever had a real job. He has absolutely zero experience to run NYS or NYC. He needs to build his career and then run for office. I'm sure if he did, he could be as good as his dad. But, governor of the state of ny at this juncture in his life, NO way. Zeldin has a chance to win, if he runs a brilliant campaign and pays attention to NYS's corrupt election process. Giuliani would have been democrat road kill.
