The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) spent $4.3 million in funds from President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package on environmental justice and climate change programs promoting activities like tree planting, "pruning workshops," and achieving "greater acceptance of trees" in cities. Last April, the EPA announced it was awarding $200,000 each to dozens of projects "focusing on COVID-19 impacts, as well as climate and disaster resiliency" in "underserved communities" through its Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program. The program awarded a total of 34 organizations using $4.3 million in funds from Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, as well as $2.5 million from the EPA’s annual

No Republican has ever made a credible effort to shut down the EPA, which was started by President Nixon and has long been dominated by radical leftists bent on destroying the USA through costly regulations and decrees, all of which change at the whim of unelected bureaucrats looking to add some bullet points to their résumés and win raises and bonuses.

"COVID" was just fraudulent label put onto a multi-trillion dollar slush fund which is STILL destroying the US economy. EPA is a source of much evil, should be destroyed.

VOTERS don't get off Scott-free. VOTERS put today's political clowns in charge ... the same pols who have NO PROBLEM spending huge amounts of other people's money in such a way as to garner the most votes, since VOTES and retaining power are pretty much all they really care about. Republicans "go along to get along," and will even vote for Red Flag laws if it makes them look good - to hell with the constituents. Spend, spend, spend has gotten us into the inflation fix that we're in now. Term limits could solve this, SO, that route will never be trodden.

The EPA, like unions, was established for good purpose. But, the purpose was addressed and resolved long ago. The bureaucracy is a life force which must increase its scope and define new issues in order to continue to exist. As Reagan said "the closest thing to eteranal life on earth is a government program" and "government always finds a need for the money it gets"
