Disney's Big, Gay ‘Lightyear’ Is the
Latest Woke Box Office Flop

Original Article

Lightyear, the latest piece of child grooming media from the predators at the Walt Disney Co., is looking like a box office catastrophe, which is only a surprise to those who don’t live in the real world. Gee, what do you think will happen when you add some high-profile homosexuality to a kiddie movie? I’ll tell you what happens… The latest chapter of the most iconic and beloved animated franchise of all time not only crash lands with a pathetic $51 to $55 million opening, it comes in second place behind the second weekend of Jurassic World Dominion. Good job, Disney. Well done. Allow me to caveat that these numbers could still change, but over at the far-left Deadline

Toy Story came out in 1995 .... 27 years ago. Can't they come up with any original ideas rather than just one brainless, inferior sequel after another? This makes the 4th sequel of the original, so they thought ''hey, we can just add some gayness'' and it won't be stale and boring. The entire premise of the original was showing old toys from the fifties, sixties, and seventies that come to life; parents enjoy the nostalgia and memories from their childhood while the kids get to enjoy the antics of the living toys. Sorry to disappoint liberals, but back then there would have been no woman Space Rangers. The entire concept of a black woman lesbian Space Ranger is completely alien to the time period. The toys shown are from pre-internet, cell phone, video game era [Ex. Mr. Potato Head, Cowboy, Astronaut, slinky dog, piggie bank, little Bo Peep, little green Army Men] so they are trying to force the current ''woke'' foolishness onto an era when it was unknown. It doesn't work.

Disney is dead to me. To be honest, I sensed a change a few years ago. They made a big effort in their advertising to say that we loving grandparents should take our grandchildren to DW for good fleecing. By then I was fed up after they buried “Song of the South” and we never fell for their pitch. I will never buy another Disney product for the rest of my life and happily urge others to do the same. Trying to proselytize children to celebrate homosexuality was the final straw.

It was too late to do anything other than a Diaper Joe bike face plant. Production and all was near completion when the most obvious poll in the world said this would be a disaster. All one had to do was watch a little news to notice parents were not putting up with this indoctrination at their schools. School board meetings, school board recalls, general elections were screaming parents' had had enough. But Disney apparently decided to suck it up and lick its wounds and insult parents once again.

It's a pleasure just to read that Disney is sinking in its own damaged ship. Still, they sucked in enough parents to spend $55 million. Is it worth exposing their kids to this trash just to get them out of the house for a few hours? I predict big discount days at the theme parks over the next year as the corporation goes under.

We noticed that Disney was going woke a couple of decades before that word became a thing. Back then it was “political correctness” and it was the lyrics to the theme song of “Pocahontas” in 1995 that started our boycott. We heard the song on the radio and listened to the lyrics. They were anti-American and anti-white. Our daughter was five years old at the time and we refused to let her see the movie. Our boycott is ongoing now with our grandchildren - nothing Disney. Ever.

Disney has forgotten that they are not the gatekeepers. Parents are the gatekeepers. If parents make the decisions to exclude LGTB+ from their children's lives, there is nothing Disney can do about it. Apparently, another LGTB+ movie is premiering in November for the Christmas season, so parents beware.

This is so sad. I was an annual Disneyland pass holder for over 20 years. I loved the atmosphere and took so many family and friends every year. Spent many evenings at Club 33 and loved the evening fireworks. But Disney is now dead to me. What has happened to them is so anti American family values. They have been taken over by pedophiles, trannies, groomers, wokeness, and pure evil. This used to be the place you could go to escape the craziness of the world. It is now the epitome of the evil that exists. The only was this will be changed is for a complete turnover of senior management and a purging of the woke employees (just like what Musk did with the crazy Space x Employees). A true house cleaning is the only way to save this once gret company. Walt would be so disgusted!

The old saw in Hollywood is a movie needs to make at least three times its budget to break even. This movie cost over $200 million, but it only opened to about $50 million - give or take a few. It has horrible word of mouth, so it's going to drop sharply next weekend and won't have legs. It's not playing in a number of countries and it won't be popular in a lot of the ones where it is playing, so foreign box office isn't going to save it. But Disney and the movie press will continue to claim these are great numbers and try to spin it as a hit.

The gay agenda combined with the fact Tim Allen isn't voicing such an iconic character anymore was two blows that should sink this stinker. The cherry on top will be that it is banned in their biggest foreign markets because they don't like the gay agenda either. Chris Evans is one of the biggest jerks and whiny wokester that has come out of Hollywood in a long time. Calling parents hateful dinosaurs and hoping we die off pretty much seals his fate as a loathsome little whiner. Dumping Tom Brady because he fretted that Brady's friendship with Trump could somehow reflect on him ended my liking him in most anything anymore.

Tallahassee, Fla. — As Ron DeSantis gears up for a likely 2024 White House bid — with or without Donald Trump in the race — the Florida governor is winning over some of the former president’s biggest benefactors. DeSantis has attracted the attention of some of the nation’s wealthiest Republican donors, including many who were key financiers of Trump’s reelection bid or backers of high profile Republican candidates and causes, according to POLITICO analysis of campaign finance data. A DeSantis-aligned political committee, Friends of Ron DeSantis, has received $3.4 million this election cycle from 10 donors who collectively spent $24 million on Trump’s reelection bid. The details of the horrific massacre at a Texas elementary school continue to emerge, and it seems the more we learn the worse things look for the police who responded to the call. Second, police have incredibly difficult jobs, requiring them to make split-second decisions while under enormous pressure under extremely dangerous and stressful situations. As part of China's efforts to control COVID-19, provincial authorities have been using a contact-tracing "health code" app to monitor people's movements. The app works off a traffic-light coding system. The user scans a venue's QR code, and in turn, their own QR code turns either green or red. If green, they have the all clear to enter; if red, they might have COVID-19, and must quarantine. But a recent wave of protests in Zhengzhou in central China has led some people to fear the app is being used for a different purpose: to monitor and target people who have taken part in these protests.

In her June 18/19 column at the Wall Street Journal, Ms. Noonan takes Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" slap at Trump voters and goes one — nay, two better. She refers to voters who question the results of the 2020 presidential election as "kooks, crooks, and freaks" and then smears the citizens who went to Washington, D.C. January 6, 2021 as "[t]hose poor stupid people." What is the basis for this criticism, which, arguably, is less ad hominem and, more accurately, descriptive of her mindset? Perhaps Ms. Noonan has not read Margot Cleveland's analysis in The Federalist showing how Georgia election officials failed to enforce the state's election laws in 2020.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of two Republicans on the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, shared a frightening letter that threatened to “execute” his family, including his 5-month-old baby. “Here is the letter. Addressed to my wife, sent to my home, threatening the life of my family,” the Illinois congressman posted Sunday on his Twitter account. The unhinged note, addressed to Kinzinger’s wife, Sofia, begins: “That pimp you married not only broke his oath, he sold his soul.” The letter then goes on to chillingly warn her husband would be “executed.”

Near the end of an especially tumultuous week in his tumultuous presidency, Joe Biden gave his first media interview in four months to someone who wasn’t a late-night comedian. For a public hungering for answers, it wasn’t worth the wait. The president chose The Associated Press and the sit-down lasted a little less than 30 minutes, but that was more than enough time for him to demonstrate again he’s got no new ideas or even a new way of packaging old ideas. Biden acknowledges America is in a funk, but shows no sense of compassion or determination to turn the tide.
