REAL FEMINIST: Telling the Story of How

One thing that, until recently, the left has done very well is use storytelling as a way to connect with people and persuade them to their side. They’re still scarily effective using that technique, but as their stories have become more and more wacky, their stories are not resonating with regular Americans. Regular Americans are looking somewhere, anywhere, for even a smidgen of sanity and goodness — something they can identify and get on board with. We have an incredible opportunity to share our personal stories with our friends and neighbors and even with total strangers when discussing the tough issues facing our society and our country,

My aunt had an abortion in the late 1940s. My aunt was in her early twenties and having an affair with a married man. They lived in a smallish community in Oklahoma. She became pregnant and she turned to her old maid aunts for advice. They helped her procure an abortion. It was supposed to be hush hush and done, your mom and dad don't need to know. She went to a doctor in the town. A doctor, not a back alley, dirty, coat hanger wielding social justice warrior, but one of the town's doctors. She had her abortion and went to the aunts' house to rest. Well, the doctor didn't remove all of the baby's parts (something that still happens today) and my aunt developed a raging infection. She was close to death. The old maid aunts were in a tizzy, they were in deep carp. Now, mom and dad needed to know. Back in those days farmers like my grandfather had party lines. The old maids called my gentle, God loving, strong grandfather and told him about his daughter. They told a lot of other people that day too because of that party line. My grandparents went into town to the hospital and found their daughter. They were frightened and heartbroken. My mother was a teenager, the only one still living at home. She idolized her big sister. My aunt survived. The man she was sleeping with dropped her. The man's wife told my aunt that she wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last. My mother went back to high school and was taunted by students who knew what had happened. My grandparents held their heads high, they loved their daughter, encouraged her to attend nursing school in Kansas where she met a gentle, strong, God loving farmer and thrived. But they never forgot what they had all gone through. It was a wound that healed but still hurt. My aunt, my grandparents and my mother grieved for that little baby. That's how they put it. They were grieving for that little baby. I don't know all of the answers to the abortion question, but I know that we have to have something better than the destruction of an innocent little being. There must be a better way.

The fact is that Roe vs Wade was a horrible unconstitutional ruling. Even admitted by RBG. Abortion laws are now the responsibility of the states where they belong. Currently Mississippi has a law limiting abortions after 15 weeks. As opposed to France 12 weeks, Spain 12 weeks, Italy 14 weeks, UK 12 weeks. Democrats believe abortion is okay if the babies head has emerged but not the legs. You can snip the spinal cord and go home have some wine a joint and no harm no foul.

My church works with single pregnant moms who think about getting an abortion. They are never told the after effects of getting anbortion. Depression, divorce, substance abuse, inability to get pregnant, and even suicide.

Skirt Requirement for Schoolgirls Violates
Constitution, Appeals Court Rules

A North Carolina charter school with a female principal and vice principal is violating the Constitution because it requires girls to wear skirts, a federal appeals court has declared. The full Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the same court that mandated the removal of war memorial crosses in five states, said Tuesday that the Charter Day School's skirt requirement for girls is rooted in unconstitutional gender stereotypes. It is the first time a federal appeals court has said charter schools may be sued for civil rights claims, and will almost assuredly be followed by lawsuits involving sports, bathroom access, and transgender rights.

George Washington University (GW) officials have decided to remove the school’s “Colonial” mascot following years of woke activists demanding the university ban it for not being “inclusive.” Students then suggested the university change its mascot to a “hippo” or a “riverhorse” instead. “After a thoughtful and deliberate process that engaged the university community for feedback, the George Washington University’s Board of Trustees has accepted the recommendation of a Special Committee to discontinue the use of the Colonials moniker,” GW announced in a statement.

For decades, Democrats have ridden out the interest of third-wave feminism’s propaganda campaign, taking for granted that most women voters see them as the party of female empowerment. For as many decades, plenty of American women have let them. Even at the height of the feminist movement, the lies that women must become like men to be real women were damaging — but now, all pretenses are up. Every major political platform of the left is unabashedly antithetical to the protection, celebration, and dignity of womanhood. Women have one political camp on their side today, and it’s the right.
