Joe Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm has a message to Americans suffering because of high gas prices: Brazilians pay the same amount for gas.
Gas prices are soaring because of Joe Biden’s war on domestic energy production.
The current national average price for gas is well over $5 a gallon.
Joe Biden’s incompetent and corrupt Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm on Wednesday was confronted about the pain at the pump during an appearance on CNN.Instead of offering up common sense solutions such as drilling for more oil here at home, Secretary Granholm said Americans should stop complaining

Even with that nasty statement, she's not the worst of the truly rotten cabinet stooges. But she's right up there.

Marie Antoinette - "Let them eat cake"
Arthur Burns - "Let them eat cheese once a week"
Jennifer Granholm - "Stop complaining. Brazilians pay more."

There is only so much oil available in the world at a given time. If the USA shuts off production other countries compete for a more limited supply. Basic economic supply and demand dictates that prices rise everywhere - but Biden twits pretend supply can be increased by COMMANDING it.

Question for Granholm.
How much per gallon are people who live in countries that produce enough oil and fuel for domestic consumption AND have leftovers to export?
What are they paying?

Brazil’s 29-year-old ethanol fuel program uses cheap sugar cane, mainly bagasse (cane-waste) for process heat and power, and modern equipment, and provides a ~22% ethanol blend used nationwide, plus 100% hydrous ethanol for four million cars. The Brazilian ethanol program provided nearly 700,000 jobs in 2003, and cut 1975–2002 oil imports by a cumulative undiscounted total of US$50 billion. Today, Brazil gets more than 30% of its automobile fuels from sugar cane-based ethanol.
Brazil's sugar cane-based industry is far more efficient than the U.S. maize-based industry. Brazilian distillers are able to produce ethanol for 22 cents per liter, compared with the 30 cents per liter for corn-based ethanol.

I don't give a damn what other countries do, I'm an American and we have the world's best prices on fuels, other than the middle eastern countries where they are government subsidized.

Gasoline for autos is not the main problem, it is diesel.
The increase in the price of diesel effects the prices of everything. Farmers need diesel to plant, harvest, and take their crops to market. Everything you see in the room around you was transported by a diesel truck at least one time. The run-up in diesel prices increases the price of production and transportation of all goods.

I’d like to remind this fool, we are not Brazilians. We are Americans! Before your dunderheaded leader stole the election, Americans were doing just fine. You and your lying, lawless corrupt party ruined everything.
