Housing prices and rampant inflation under the leadership of President Joe Biden and Gov. Gavin Newson (D-CA) are driving thousands of Californians to search for a more affordable life in Mexico.
“I would say at least half are coming down from California,” Darrell Graham of Baja123 Real Estate Group told CNBC. “Suddenly the cost of taxes, the crime rates, the politics, all the things that people are unhappy with in California are coming down to Mexico.”
Roughly 200,000 people commute between California and Mexico every day because “many of them work in California and live just below the border in Baja California due to its proximity,”

Frankly, I have been looking at Belize and Honduras. I have experience in both outside the tourist classes.

So, are the Kalifornian going South in droves???
Keep it up-- just don't come to Texas!
Ita amazing how we will spend well over $120 BILLION dollars PER YEAR, but we won't build a wall for less that $10 billion.
We don't have to spend too much for gas, but the Vegetable in a White House has sold U.S. out to the wacko climate change types

No way would I cross that border for any reason. I was there in the 60's and it wasn't a place i would want to live in, now with the Cartels running the country, I have no desire to return.

Somebody should tell the 15,000 illegal immigrants on the way to the border that they would be better off staying in Mexico.

Glad they are going to Mexico and not taking their socialist bent to a red state.
#7, actually they are on the dole as soon as they get here so they don't have it better where they are. Should be that way but it isn't.

Mexicans going back home. These are only Californians in some technical sense, or totally fraudulent sense.

Maybe they're Mexicans moving back to Mexico because California has become too dangerous.

Well, it seems only right. The Mexicans are invading here so why not go to Mexico and live cheaper and the crime rate in certain cities there might be lower than in CA.

My family’s experience was far different than poster 5’s. Several times in the 1960’s my parents and we six children drove across the border. We lunched in Tijuana and visited the shops. Then on to a beach town and camping on the shore. Great memories.

I would say to them what I would say to all of those marching toward our border from the south - stay home and fix the problems there rather than bringing them here. The Californians heading to Mexico helped to create the shiitehole that is now their home state. Go home and vote out the communists and you will be fine.

Nothing new, many people have always moved to Mexico when they retire. Most come back after a few years.

Californians have long owned or rented homes in Baja California and further down - Guadalajara. San Miguel Allende. When I lived in San Diego, women went regularly to Tijuana to shop., to have hair done. There were sp,e very elegant restaurants for dining out. Not sure I’d do any of that now, but many feel very comfortable in Mexico.

Watch out Mexico, they stayed long enough to ruin our country and leave us to mop up their mess. Now they are coming to ruin your country. Look at what has been happening in Lisbon with the influx of Californians.. good luck Mexico!
