The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine advisory committee will vote June 28 on something called the “Future Framework,” a scheme that would allow Pfizer and Moderna to “reformulate” COVID-19 mRNA vaccines in perpetuity, without conducting clinical trials on the new vaccines. (snip) Pfizer and Moderna have a problem — their COVID-19 shots do NOT work. Everyone knows this. The shots do not stop infection, transmission, hospitalization, or death. If necessary, I'll stay inside my house in perpetuity rather than take the clot shot.

As long as the vaccine only causes death and doesn't present a large number of deformed babies like the Thalidomide pill did then I guess the FDA, CDC and NIH figure they can go along with it.

They may as well skip the trials, since they get approved no matter how the trials go anyway.

In fact I'm surprised the FDA doesn't just give all vaccines pre-approval before they're even developed, provided, of course, that the drug companies keep up their payoffs to Fauci, et.al.

Since Russia initiated its brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine, the West has responded with a hearty bellow of “Cry Havoc! And let slip the dogs of war!” Since February 24, NATO has poured nearly all its otherwise limited surplus of weapons and diplomatic capital—as well as economic capital, especially from the United States—into propping up the Ukrainian resistance front.(snip)Of course, the same people ignoring the prospect of a Russian nuclear strike against NATO also insisted that Putin wouldn’t dare to invade Ukraine. Then when he did, they insisted that Putin wouldn’t dream of trying to conquer the capital of Kiev. How did those predictions work out? No doubt, they

Earlier today, angry Joe was channeling his inner thug as he harkened back to the good old days when labor unions were cracking skulls on behalf of the communists and socialists. Giving the pretense of connection to the working class is a performance technique Biden has used throughout his career, but it holds absolutely no basis in reality. Appearing at the AFL-CIO convention today, Biden began yelling at the brotherhood. In his mind anger, violence and conflict is what he believes organized labor is all about, so his performance is designed to convey that connection. It’s more than a little weird, it’s creepy. WATCH:

Reporters from a non-profit investigative journalism organization have discovered that, over the last ten years, foreign investments in American farmlands have tripled. Just The News reports that the group Investigate Midwest came to this conclusion by analyzing data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). This trend can present a number of national security threats, according to Farm Action co-founder Joe Maxwell. “The real question is, who do the people of the United States want to be their farmer?” Maxwell asked. “Do they want Saudi Arabia, Canada, China, other countries to be their farmer? Do they want Bayer or Cargill or other large corporations to be their farmer?”

Studies suggest a link between an incurable and fatal prion disease known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and COVID-19 vaccines. Researchers believe the prion region from the original Wuhan COVID-19 variant’s spike protein was incorporated into mRNA vaccines and adenovirus vector vaccines — given to hundreds of millions of humans — and that it can cause a new type of rapidly progressing sporadic CJD. According to Mayo Clinic, CJD is a degenerative brain disorder that leads to dementia and, ultimately, death. Although the Omicron variant does not have a prion region on its spike protein, current COVID-19 vaccines still use the genetic material — including the prion region — of the parent Wuhan strain.

My late father called it the “boob tube.” He did so not because of the rise, in the 1970s, of so-called “jiggle TV.” He only watched sports and the news. As a teacher, he loathed the deleterious effects television viewing had upon the intellectual practices and acumen of the populace, especially students. He contended that sitting for hours every day and every night in front of the TV to be passively entertained prevented people from actively learning and experiencing life. Perhaps even more than a formal education, he argued, these active experiences provided the life lessons needed later in adulthood to help provide wisdom.

Republicans in Congress have called for more domestic production to increase the supply of oil in order to reduce the cost.

The Washington state Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that a person’s race, and law enforcement’s long history of discrimination against people of color, should be taken into account when determining the legality of police seizures. The court also clarified state law to say police have seized a person if an objective observer would conclude that the person was not free to leave or refuse a request. But, the court wrote, that “objective observer” must be aware that discrimination and biases “have resulted in disproportionate police contacts, investigative seizures, and uses of force against Black, Indigenous, and other people of color.”

According to Gallup’s Presidential Job Approval Center, just 41% approve of the job Biden is doing. That’s worse than Gerald Ford, or Lyndon Johnson, or even Jimmy Carter on day 487. Much worse than Ronald Reagan, the Bushes, Bill Clinton, or Barack Obama. To add insult to his injury, Biden’s approval rating is now lower than Trump’s was at this point in Trump’s first term.
