A retired Marine Corps general who once led U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan and later publicly backed Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is facing scrutiny over allegations that he illegally lobbied government officials on behalf of the Persian Gulf nation of Qatar. The FBI seized the electronic data of retired Gen. John R. Allen, who now leads the Brookings Institution after authorities said he made false statements and withheld “incriminating” documents about his lobbying efforts, The Associated Press reported.(Snip)Mr. Allen is accused of misrepresenting his role in the lobbying campaign to U.S. officials and failing to disclose that he was pursuing multimillion-dollar business deals with Qatar

There are not enough prison cells to hold the number of government employees, politicians, and related lobbyists and consultants who make their fortunes undermining the United States and its people in favor of foreign governments. I met Gen. Allen briefly as he presided over the funeral of my USMC nephew at the USNA chapel. I don't trust the FBI in the slightest, so I wonder about these charges....probably trying to take out another patriot, if the FBI is following it's standard these days.

DeVos resigned her post on Jan. 7, 2020–calling the riot the previous day and Trump's rhetoric an 'inflection point.' Now in a new interview promoting a book, she says she discussed using the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office–and says she faulted Trump for failing to 'address the situation.' The U.S. is indirectly paying an airline controlled by the Taliban to fly out Afghans seeking safety, according to a new report, following the chaotic departure of American troops last year. Washington is committed to helping rescue Afghans who helped U.S. forces or who fear for their lives after working for the former government. But with no diplomatic representation in the country it is reliant on Qatar, which maintains relations with the Taliban, to make arrangements to fly Afghans out of the country en route to the U.S. Four sources told NBC News that Qatar is buying plane tickets in bulk from Ariana Afghan Airlines, the country’s state-owned airline.

The Air Force revealed there's a design flaw in former President Donald Trump's wish to paint the presidential plane in his signature red, white and dark blue colors. Trump's plan for the two new 747s being built into flying White Houses called for the underside of the plane and its engine area to be painted dark blue. But that could contribute to excessive temperatures on the plane, a problem that Boeing would have to pay out-of-pocket to fix, Politico reported. Boeing has already lost nearly $1.1 billion so far in converting two 747 aircraft into new Air Force Ones and its CEO has expressed regret at taking on

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.

Biden, who speaks in tongues, is plainly beyond redeeming; the question is whether he will manage to survive the year, let alone stumble, lollop, and whiffle to the end of his first term.
