Oh, so being mentally ill isn't excuse enough. Now the thugs claim to be drunk and can't remember what they did. Also, like how they say they don't know what the victim said to him before the attack, by the time his lawyers get to him, he'll say she called him every known racist name in history. Right?

In a normal place that would be attempted murder, or something like that, in NYC, it'll be reduced to jaywalking and releases on own recognizance, zero bail, and a $50 fine to come at some future time....maybe.

This massive street violence may suddenly get a 'reality check', starting in the next three weeks. And it will have nothing at all to do with anything that the DA or the mayor do or say. They are going to be blindsided, I think, because they are ignorant and arrogant. Within a few weeks, NYC lefty idiots-in-charge are going to be in total shock when the Supreme Court is very likelyt to strike down their entire restrictive firearms permitting system as unconstitutional. It may well go like it did in Illinois, where a federal judge ruled that the Illinois "may issue" (almost never) CCW permit system was unconstitutional and he was staying his own order for 90 days to give the state legislature time to write a new CCW law with objective standards. The legislature whined a lot, but under a deadline, did the job, and since about 2014 (IIRC) they have had a pretty reasonable CCW process in Illinois. I think NY state and NYC are going to go through something similar. And the MOST FUN PART, is that it will also apply to California, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Hawaii. I predict (but I could be wrong) that any "may issue" CCW scheme is going to be rule unconstitutional. In practice they are arbitrary and capricious, and there are no objective standards to use as a legal argument to fight "the system" for a constitutional right. The system is just "We said - NO, now go away, there is no process for appeal." now in those states. I don't think this will pass muster in this court. I believe that Hawaii has issued no CCW permits in the whole state for ordinary folks, even though they theoretically exist, and the rest of the states have a few for special friends of politicians, for politicians, and judges and the very wealthy and connected few. I understand that if you pay $15,000 to the 'right lawyers" you might get a CCW permit in NYC, a very crooked system.

Being some of the most subtle, yet effective political commentaries, the source of the ubiquitous meme had to be tracked down by the media. The media complex in this country loves to drape itself with a veil of objectivity and unbiased delivery of the facts. They claim to be adherents to only the facts, while holding those in power accountable. Yet we see frequently that there are times when simple Americans break through the press narratives with inconvenient messaging. When that occurs we see that the press reacts by holding those common citizens accountable.

How much exactly does “social justice” cost? Liberal billionaire George Soros spent at least $40 million over the last decade to answer that question, according to our latest research. Those millions helped elect scores of progressive prosecutors bent on remaking the criminal justice system to Soros’ liking. It’s not to Americans’ liking, as San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin’s recall Tuesday shows. Soros didn’t fund Boudin directly, but he donated to an anti-recall PAC. And Boudin is the first face on the “Meet the Movement” page of the Soros-funded Fair and Just Prosecution, whose conferences he’s attended.
