The funerals for those killed in the tragic school shooting that occurred in Uvalde, TX, have started to take place. That comes amidst the relentless politicization of the event by the left and the media–despite the fact that in such a moment, there’s typically nothing a family wants more than privacy.
Yet, a “health reporter” from The Houston Chronicle (again, trying to politicize what happened), attempted to crash one memorial in order to take pictures. Fortunately, a group of bikers, who were there providing security, had other ideas. [Video]
If you watch the video, you’ll see the reporter hassle the bikers, saying he’s “just trying to do” his job
Twitter really is full of not so bright twits.

The reporter is obviously a demonrat trying to get pictures to keep their gun control mantra going.

From the article (My caps): “I don’t know who in the journalism profession needs to hear this, but YOU aren’t special. YOU DO NOT have a right to invade people’s privacy, and YOUR story IS NOT more important than those grieving.”

I bet if this were this “journalist’s” child, he would be singing a different tune. At the lowest point in a parent’s life, you do not want or need a camera or snoopy writer in your face for the sole purpose of recording the most intimate pain you will ever feel. If this journalist does not understand this, he is a shameless ghoul void of human decency. God bless these bikers.

It amuses me when some putz states that they're just doing their job when intruding on other people's lives..... termites are just doing their job, too, and they aren't welcome visitors, either.

Those horrible humans on motorcycles are people who can afford $20,000 to $30000 toys. Think about the jobs they have in order to pay for a Harley.

"Bikers" kept protesters at bay during my nephew's funeral after he was killed by an IED in Iraq 17 years ago. They will forever have my gratitude. The author is right. If you willingly take a job whose purpose is to invade the space of victims, you need to reevaluate your life choices.

Reporters can be really obnoxious at times. I had several TV reporters being intrusive when I was assisting an FAA investigator at the scene of a small aircraft crash which had killed two acquaintances, very nice people. I was part of the investigation and had been working with the FAA examining the scene of the crash and the wreckage to figure out the accident sequence, and trying to understand what caused the accident. The group of nearby reporters were very insistent, every time I walked near them.
I told them I didn't want to talk to them, leave me alone, I said that they always get everything wrong and just "stay away". They were insistent and I got angry and snapped at them verbally, and one calmly replied, "If we always get it wrong, then help us get it right." That rang a bell, and I took some time to take that one reporter aside and explain what we knew at that point, who the people were, and what it seemed was likely to have happened. She took careful notes, I had her tell me back what she intended to say, and I corrected a few things she misunderstood. We went back and forth until she had the story at least correct as far as we knew at that point.
In that situation, there was no family yet present (they lived many states away) and it was a crash scene, not a funeral. Very different situation. The reporter that I spoke with got the story out correctly and was understanding of the dead people and at least the news was accurate.
But at a funeral....that is absolutely a private family matter, reporters should just stay away, people are dealing with their grief and do not need any reporters poking around causing more friction. Good for these guys keeping the reporter at bay. The reporter even showing up was a wrong thing.

"Real" Journos used to look down upon "Paparazzi" the way "Good" Lawyers used to look down upon ambulance chasers. Now...they all seem to aspire to be those very things.
Houston had a One of a Kind(in those days) Intrusive media filmer that was a standing joke, but watched avidly, Marvin Zindler, he looked, dressed, behaved like "Saul Goodman"( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLdzba8fXCo )
Even the main ringleaders/instigators of BLM/Antifa riots wear "Press" vests now and the Media makes nary a peep.
