Joe Biden on Monday suggested he wants to ban “high caliber” 9mm handguns in remarks to reporters on the South Lawn.“And they showed me an x-ray – he said, ‘a 22-caliber bullet will lodge in a lung and we can probably get it out.. and maybe save a life. A 9mm bullet, blows the lung out of the body,'” Biden said of his trip to Uvalde, Texas.“So the idea that these high caliber weapons — There’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting – and remember, the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment was never absolute”

He was an idiot before his brain broke. He has no idea what he is talking about "high" is only used in reference to caliber in a estimation of QUALITY, never in the actual ballistic caliber description.....it is only misused this way be weapons ignoramuses.
Large caliber, medium caliber, small caliber....those have meaning. But not "high caliber"....only used by talking heads on TV who know nothing.
And they cannot ban anything.

FTA: "...and remember, the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment was never absolute.”
And, apparently, neither was his oath of office, in which he swore to uphold and defend that Constitution, as written, from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
In a sane world, violating his oath of office would be automatic grounds for automatic impeachment, and is probably treasonous at the same time.

Ummm...many AR15s are chambered for the NATO 5.56mmX45mm centerfire cartridge, the bullet for which has a nearly identical diameter (5.56mm) as the 0.22 LR (OK, 5.56mm is actually 0.223 inches...but you'd need a laboratory-grade caliper to measure the difference of 3 thousandths of an inch).
Biden needs to shut up and head down for evening fruit cup before he causes any more damage.

I've never seen such a broad spectrum of out and out ignorance on display as I have with
the current batch of 'our betters' !
Could he have meant 'high power(ed)' - another favorite phrase of the ignorant - and
'mis-heard' and then repeated his 'instructional ear piece' or just mis-spoke on his own
by wandering 'off script' - a fault demonstrated fairly often by his mentor Barry !
His mental issues appear to be continuing their downward spiral.
I wondering if he will be able to understand spoken words, or repeat them as required or even
read before long.
This is sometimes the progression - I've seen it, more than once, up close and VERY personal.
And If I am wrong and it is ALL an act, someone better wake up the Academy Awards bunch
and tell them there is going to be an increase in the demand for their 'statue' - ALL of them to be
presented to 'the big guy' !!

Fortunately all of my 9mm are low to medium caliber. Has it ever occurred to the Delaware Dummy that if crime wasn't out of control many people wouldn't be stocking up on arms. The dims want to release criminals, defund the police, and disarm the citizens. The Bidet family is the most metric aware visitors to the White House. Quid Pro Joe knows his 9mm. Son Snorter knows all about kilos and grams. You'd have better luck eliminating ants at picnics than getting all the people who have 9mm to turn them in. There are only 966 days until Inauguration Day, Jan 20, 2025. Shop early.

He understands this stuff because his late son Beau was a lawyer in the Delaware National Guard who died of cancer caused by PTSD from. seven months of writing briefs at Camp Victory in Iraq.

The lunacy of Joe's comment is his implication that one bullet is 'safer' than another...fact is, they're all lethal if they hit the right spot. Joe should to talk to some morticians...a 0.22 LR bullet is so light that it can ricochet around inside the body and perforate multiple organs, creating catastrophic internal bleeding that is very difficult to diagnose and repair in surgery, unlike the more high-powered jacketed rounds, which tend to plow straight thru the body in a single trajectory and exit on the other side. Of course, hollow-points may also follow a single trajectory, but do far more damage during their progress as they expand.

And at any moment, to be rationally consistent, and to show that he feels our pain, Biden will announce that the handguns carried by his Secret Service detail have been replaced with whiffle bats.

No doubt Biden wants to ban all modern firearms in the USA or he never would have brought up banning hand guns.

A 22 will kill. A 9mm will kill. A 38 will kill. A 12 gauge will kill. Even a 17 will kill. FJB has no clue about firearms nor the calibers and their potential effect. To be absolute firearms (long and short) of all calibers will have to be banned. That's not going to happen. FJB and KDH will try. Some Rinos will be complicit. To make sure the SCOTUS rules in their favor against the #2A, additional Supreme judges will have to be added to stack the court. They wont quit until the citizenry are disarmed. They are coming for your arms. Be prepared. The battle is upon us.

One thing you can be absolutely, positively certain of is that if it’s a day of the week that ends in a “Y’, Joe Biden is lying. The man can not tell the truth.

I'd like to remind Biteme, that Reagan almost died after being shot by a low velocity 22 caliber gun.

So like all predatory evil people like Biden, he must be into torture of animals and people if he is against higher caliber ammo. If people go hunting, the kindest thing to do is shoot them dead, not let them run away with a bullet lodged in them. That is a horrible way for one of God's creatures to die. But then that is the democrat death cult party for you.

Everything that Joe Biden says about guns and the Constitution is a lie. Everything. It’s what Democrats do - they lie.

Well Joe, if I use Critical Defense or Hydra Shock ammo, you're right. That's why all my handguns are loaded with either one.
