Thats about the starting age where kids, especially boys, get really stupid. The hormones are pumping and they will do absolutely anything to impress their friends and prove they are an alpha. They have no concept of cause and effect or future repercussions. They are the ultimate narcissists. Good parents and good teachers know they are full of crap and respond accordingly.
Most outgrow it and become normal adults.

I have no problem with this. Everyone will be watching him from now on.
Watch his family move somewhere else now.

It always ticked me off when a police agency wouldn't or couldn't show the face of a juvenile perpetrator. I am so glad that this was done.
FLORIDA seems to be the state with the most common sense in this republic!

No problem with this, either. And I'm waiting to see Paul Pelosi's mugshot and perp walk.

Seems to me that a public nuisance was created. Penalize Mama and Papa each for it with a few days in the cooler. Make sure the penalty is well publicized.

Sheriff has had nearly a 20% drop in crime since taking office.
Anything goes? Not here...not anymore. There is a bright line, stay on the right side of it or else.

Good. They want notoriety, then give it to them before anyone else is killed.

He's one sick little piece of .....manure. Behind that mild exterior.....a kid fooling around or a really warped, destructive mind that will now pretend for long enough to grow up and do it for real?

9/11/2001 my twelve year old boy made a smart-alec remark about boxcutters to his friend. We had a one way life changing discussion. As a grown man he's very thoughtful before he speaks. He's also an excellent husband and father. I have hope for this boy.

#8... I do not want the village to raise my children, look out for them, yes but your values are not necessarily mine. A man's castle is his home.

Seems to be an overreaction. Did they find any guns or proof of any purchase? Was it really necessary to handcuff and prep walk a ten year old over this? A stern talking to wasn't good enough.

Absolutely the correct thing to do. There are consequences to ones actions no matter the age of the perpetrator.

My dad's hands are roughly the size of ping pong paddles. If my brothers had tried this crap at 10 years of age, he would have tanned their hides and they would have spent the better part of a week standing up to eat!! Then again, my parents didn't put up with a lot of crap from their kids.

A bit dramatic but I agree with the Sheriff's actions totally. Hopefully this little devil has been scared straight before he could do some real damage.

This is not a joke when someone threatens to shoot someone. Release his mug shot and treat this little monster as an adult. He is 10 and he should know better than sending out threats. It is obvious that he may have some mental issues that to be identified. His parents need to take responsibility of his actions also.

This 'roided out Sheriff has committed the error of becoming that which he condemns. There are laws in every State to protect juvenile's identity. He violated them without blinking an eye. The solution to lawlessness is not more lawlessness, just like the solution to discrimination is not more discrimination.
The staged perp walk stinks of the same propagandist instincts of the Left -- feeding us an image that feeds our emotions but lacks cultural nutritional value.
What rules will this Sheriff break next because he finds it doesn't suit him?
This was a problem that could have been solved with a properly installed and operated Schlage lock. We don't need to destroy that which worked -- the Rule of Law -- to solve the current disregard of law. Government incompetence is not an indictment of five hundred years of jurisprudence, it's an indictment of government competence at all levels.
