Colorado officials are probing a suspected case of monkeypox in a 'young' gay or bisexual man who has recently returned from Canada—with the state becoming the eighth to report a presumptive case of the virus. Local health chiefs revealed late Thursday that the individual came to a clinic in the Denver area—the state's biggest city—suffering symptoms of the virus. The patient—who has not been named—is now isolating at home and contact tracing is underway. The risk the virus has spread to others is believed to be 'low'.(Snip) The vast majority of infections are in gay and bisexual men, and most are thought to be linked

Comments:

Good luck with that contact tracing. Let's see, there was a guy in a parking lot, another in a fast food toilet, another next to a dumpster behind a bar, and another in the cab on the way to the hotel. And that's just day one after arriving in town. Notice how with the Chinese Plague, everyone was supposed to wear masks at all times, socially distance, wash our groceries and mail, stay home from school and work and church, and everything else they could come up with. Here's a newly conjured disease, and there's not one thought given to asking homosexuals to stop having disgusting sex with strangers because that's core to their being, especially with Pride Month just a zip away.

Here we go again. Their filthy activities spread a disease all over the world that otherwise would be a rare, isolated tropical illness that few people have ever heard about. Then the narcissists demand that large amounts of public money be expended to protect them from themselves.

Sure enough, the same CDC that urged people to avoid Trump rallies and stop attending church is asking health care workers to get monkeypox vaccines, and doesn't event hint that homosexuals might consider laying off with their public orgies for a couple of weeks. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10861715/CDC-panel-recommends-monkeypox-vaccine-lab-workers-health-responders-health-care-workers.html

I'm positive people with covid were sent out into the country to spread it. There were four separate instances I'm aware of where people were coughing loudly or sneezing as they walked down an aisle and not covering their faces. I'm sure poxed people are now out spreading this disease. Good news is there is treatment and there are vaccines that work. Lets see how fast the government can shut these down so many will die needlessly and the coming election will be mail in ballot only.

Chances are if you are not a sexually active gay or bisexual man you don’t have much to worry about when it comes to monkey pox. There is much more potential worry about the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats building that virus up as the did with COVID, this time claiming that it is necessary to save the bisexual and gay communities across the nation from contracting monkey pox that the USA economy must again be shutdown with imposed 21 day quarantines anytime a new monkey pox case appears in a city or town. With Biden reading off his trusty teleprompter that the danger is so great to the bisexual and gay communities that all the upcoming elections must either be cancelled, or be made mail in only.

This article and comments brings to mind the early speculations about HIV/AIDS being spread from anal intercourse of predominantly gay and bisexual men. Later, it was learned that people could get it from blood transfusions and open cuts before that riddle was figured out. Could this be something similar? 60 minutes did a piece many years ago called "Patient One" who was a male flight attendant who was a carrier and spread it to lovers between Europe and America. Research discovered what it was and what it was not, and with more knowledge and deducing what it was from what it was not, great strides have been made. Same with Covid-1984. With the prevalence and societal acceptance of anal sex among heterosexual persons seeming common practice these days, will this 'monkey pox' spread in a similar way?
