In a normal political year, being chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) would be a political plum, but in 2022 it is more like being the captain of the Titanic. And the “passengers” (Democrats in the House seeking re-election) are starting to grumble that the captain is commandeering his own lifeboat. That’s roughly the situation facing Sean Patrick Maloney, chairman of the DCCC, which allocates party funds to incumbents seeking re-election. Polling voters on their support for a generic Democrat running against a Republican yields horrific results for Dems.

Only the noble left, with its commitment to democracy, can defend America and its institutions and rule of law. This is hogwash and anyone free from the tyrannic propaganda of the media knows it. In reality, the left peddles insurrectionist language and promotes the idea of American illegitimacy so as to endorse insurrectionist behavior—“in the name of democracy” though.

(snip) Let’s get one thing clear from the beginning. That hand flapping tremor in the video just doesn’t look like Parkinson’s. (snip) Flapping tremors are called “asterixis” and are most commonly a result of alcoholism and liver failure. The tremor is not what should bother us. Rather, the metabolic consequences of lifetime vodka consumption should concern us. That gradually causes liver failure and increased blood ammonia levels.

Will this board be restricted to focus on social media only as its tool, or will the powers also apply to ‘right-wing media’ directly? We do not know. However, that is not the only concern, there have been other assaults on democratic values.

Former New York City mayor Bill de Blasio has announced that he is running for Congress in the upcoming midterm elections in November, in New York’s tenth congressional district.
De Blasio make the announcement during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Friday. It comes merely 48 hours after de Blasio announced via Twitter that he was forming an exploratory committee to raise money for a potential bid. The committee was legally turned into a formal campaign on Friday.
In announcing his candidacy, de Blasio told host Joe Scarborough that “people are hurting, they need help, they need help fast,” and that “they need leaders that can actually get them help now.”
