Court-Ordered New York Redistricting Map
Is Lights out for Democrats

While it’s been clear for a few weeks that Republicans have come out on top regarding redistricting for the coming mid-terms, there was one final piece of the puzzle left. That piece has now fallen into place. A court-ordered map in New York has been adopted, and it’s lights out for Democrats heading into November. While the original Democrat map, which was struck down by the state’s Supreme Court, had a likely outcome of 22 D-seats to 4-R seats, the new map puts as many as 12 seats in play for the GOP. Republicans were looking at a modest 1-3 seat gain via redistricting after Ron DeSantis worked his magic in Florida

Sadly, no one can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory quite like the uniparty Republicans can.

Does this mean that the N.C. carpetbagger, Carolyn Maloney, will have to run against Nadler and lose? That would be wonderful!

What good will it do to have more republicans in office if they choose to place their loyalty in the uniparty? We need conservative republicans who will reject the democrats and clamp down on the budget so American taxpayers are not supporting the entire world. America First!

I am laughing because this happened in NEW YORK, one of the bedrock dem states. The dems, whose only winning election strategy seems to be to cheat through carefully constructed shenanigans has rolled snake eyes in the redistricting game, over and over. While DeSantis did a masterful job in Florida, the state leans Republican anyway and is more resistant to dem games. But in New York? The swamp of Cuomo? Too funny! As pointed out, these redistricting wins are mostly good through 2030, until the next census is done. This will make it more difficult for an already shattered and demoralized dem party to retake the House until 2032 or later. Nasty Pelousy is likely to lose her Speakership, again, this year and unlikely to EVER get it back. That's a WIN! Going forward, we need to tighten state election laws to lock out dem cheats and continue to put Conservative judges in place to deal with dem challenges. Dems can't win fair and honest elections.

Looking at the map it appears that Claudia Tenney will not be representing the Southern Tier. The area surrounding Binghamton is conservative, this will be a race to watch. People in this area are totally fed up.

The Republican party needs its own manifesto, one that reflects the views of most Republicans, and then use it to eject the RINOs (McCarthy, McConnell, Cheney, etc etc etc) that so effectively compromise and dilute its effectiveness.

For regular readers of this site, today’s news will likely not come as a surprise, but much of the nation seems to remain unaware of it. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) has released its latest reliability assessment for the summer of 2022 and, to put it mildly, the news is not good. In far too many states, the power grid is already nearly at full capacity, and in the next few months, that capacity will be exceeded. This isn’t a question of “if” or really even “when.” It’s just a fact. Industry experts know this and have been trying to sound the alarm for several years.

Three U.S. Air Force Academy cadets whose refusal to get COVID-19 vaccines threatened their May 25 graduation — along with the risk of a repayment demand for six-figure tuition costs — will be awarded their degrees, officials said Saturday. Following a “standard review” of graduation requirements for this year’s senior class, the Academy’s board recommended awarding Bachelor of Science degrees “for the three cadets refusing the COVID-19 vaccine,” a news release from the Colorado Springs, Colorado, school said in a statement. However, the Academy stated, “they will not be commissioned into the United States Air Force as long as they remain unvaccinated,”

“Everything I don’t like is a threat to democracy” has become the new slogan of the Democrat Party, and it was put on display again this week after the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals slapped down Joe Biden’s SEC. In a ruling that restored constitutional protections and left Democrats screaming bloody murder, the court found that the SEC does not have the power to internally decide to seize assets from those they feel have committed a crime. Some might be asking how the SEC ever gained such power in the first place, where an internal, administrative judge can unilaterally steal people’s property. After all, doesn’t the Seventh Amendment

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of the Archdiocese of San Francisco has taken the extreme step of publishing a letter informing Rep. Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House of Representatives and third in the line of succession for the presidency, that she must recant her public support for abortion and confess her sins before she will be allowed to partake of the Eucharist. It’s the most drastic action yet taken by a leader of the Catholic Church against a high-ranking pro-abortion politician. The Bishop of the Springfield, IL diocese gave the same punishment to state politicians; House Speaker Michael Madigan and Senate President John Cullerton were also banned from receiving communion.

Follow-up question: Is there actually a “new” monkeypox at all or is this the same virus African doctors have been managing for years, suddenly spreading in Europe for reasons that remain unclear? Either way, the trends aren’t great.Today’s global cases are double the number recorded on Wednesday. Cases have also doubled in the UK. The virus has been found on at least four continents in the past month, suggesting that something has changed about it qualitatively. But if it has, it’s curious that Africa isn’t seeing an unusually large outbreak this year.

President Joe Biden recently signed a law mandating (persondating?) that all new vehicles sold after 2026 must be equipped with electronic “kill switches.” These switches could conceivably be used by government officials—or hackers—to seize control of one’s car without permission or oversight. Oddly enough, the law was essentially hidden inside of the administration’s LGBTQ-friendly $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed late last year. The “kill switch law” would potentially allow law enforcement to shut one’s car off remotely, and also to track the car’s metrics

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby is a consummate professional, regardless of your political party of choice. The fact that he is being moved into the White House now that Jen Psaki (Psaki bombs) is gone is pretty much an admission that the wrong choice was made for her replacement. Kirby’s current official title is Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. The stock market is currently in the midst of a collapse, with the Dow Jones losing nearly 5,000 points over the last 30 days. Inflation clocked in at 8.3% for April, representing another crushing blow to Americans. Of course, gas prices continue to break milestones on a daily basis. Meanwhile, the border crisis is completely out of control, with the only somewhat positive news being that a court blocked the Biden administration’s push to lift Title 42,

The Biden administration privately acknowledged late last month that a mathematical error is delaying the federal government’s offshore oil and gas program. In an April 29 letter to industry leaders obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that a subagency “discovered a miscalculation” that has caused a massive backlog in permitting. Richard Spinrad acknowledged in his letter that the National Marine Fisheries Service—the subagency tasked with analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife—has used faulty computer modeling on such impacts. As a result, Spinrad wrote, the subagency overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.
