President Joe Biden announced a plan on Monday to make housing more affordable, particularly for first-time homeowners and for renters being gouged by high inflation. The proposal will expand federally backed financing for affordable housing, focus on building and preserving rental housing for low- and moderate-income families, and start a test program to fund construction of tiny homes to increase the housing supply. The administration is also examining increasing funding for manufactured homes, which are constructed in factories and then shipped to destinations. And officials will work with the private sector to address supply chain

Dimocrats think you solve inflation by giving their voters more money to pay for free stuff. Food goes up - they raise FoodStamps by 25%, which causes food prices to go up more. Same with housing.

"President Joe Biden was slated to head back to the White House Sunday morning. It was the president’s second trip to Delaware in as many weeks."
"The president typically spends every other weekend at his home near Wilmington, with other weekends spent at Camp David in the Maryland mountains. White House weekends are rare."

Right on cue, the progressives devalue the currency through outrageous spending/printing. Then they want to solve the housing cost problem by spending more money.
Where's the baby formula?

The new homes are manufactured under the tradename “Fido’s Hideway” and had previously been marketed as pet shelters prior to bidet’s use of the War Powers Act to convert the dog house factory into a tiny home factory.
“To those who would say this is inflationary i say very little alteration of the plant will be required,” Said budeeuh.

All carried out with executive powers, I suppose. This is predictable in that millions of newly arrived illegal alien invaders are crammed in groups of 10-15 into cracker box apartments. Obamas and Valarie Jarrett are behind the curtain issuing all the commands.

The peasants who voted for them get smaller hovels, the Polit Bureau get more mansions. The peasants say 'thank you, some more please". Where have I seen this before?

This is to bust up existing neighborhoods and bring in low income families to wealthy neighborhoods. That was Obama's dream, too.

This is an attack on local zoning regulations and specifically, single family housing and the requirements for specific amount of land / square footage per unit. For example, 1/2 acre zoning which creates a. higher cost the lot and thus a minimum size of house to justify cost of the lot. Biden, Obama and their ideologues have been trying to force low income, multi family units into the suburbs for years. “Affordable housing” is the way of hiding their destructive plans. Evil people with diabolical intentions.

Busybody Biden wants to enforse everything except the Constitution with its specific Three Branch of Government's specified designations and Rule of Law. America the Beautiful, Land of the Free & Home of the Brave. is not to be micro-managed by a President who is under the delusion he is a king! ...Why do dem/socialist pols always create problems so that they can then claim to, 'solve,' them but only to their advantage?!

FTA: "The bulk of housing, land, and other regulatory decisions take place at the state and local level."
That's where those decisions belong. Living in the suburbs in a middle class dream social justice warriors would like to hand over to people who can't pay their own way. Since the Obama administration, Dems have been scheming to take over local zoning decisions, and dictate population density to thriving neighborhoods that already exist. The suburbs are home to people of all races. The middle class doesn't need a president who drops illegal aliens into unsuspecting American communities, telling them what kind of communities they're allowed to have.

Donald Trump clearly warned us about this at his last 4 or 5 rallies. By accepting specified federal grants, local governments thereby agree that the federal government can supersede local zoning and building codes. Perhaps some listened and voted for Trump, but Democrat voter fraud cancelled those voters.
