Elon Musk’s tweet on how President Joe Biden was elected compared to how he's governing caused a big uproar among Twitter leftists this week.
The world’s richest man gave his assessment on the current commander-in-chief's boring presidential campaign, knocking Biden and his administration for acting as if they had a mandate to change the country.
On Thursday evening Musk tweeted, "Biden’s mistake is that he thinks he was elected to transform the country, but actually everyone just wanted less drama." As of Friday afternoon, the post had acquired nearly 900,000 likes. However

In one of the most “wait, what?” moments of 2022, a top Democrat leader in the House has declared that the United States is currently at war. That’s not an exaggeration nor an uncharitable reading of the situation. Apparently, unbeknownst to the public at large, Congress and the White House have managed to enter into a war with Russia without going through any of the constitutional steps to do so.
Truly, nothing surprises me anymore. Perhaps having an 82-year-old as the House Majority Leader isn’t that good of an idea? I’d like to think that someone with more cognitive capacity would at least couch their words instead of just blurting

President Biden and his Democrats were already in trouble with suburban women due to inflation, high gas prices and an agenda these voters say does not align with their priorities.
Then baby formula disappeared from store shelves.
Images of empty store shelves and stories of frantic parents searching for food to feed their infants, coupled with reports that the Biden administration is shipping pallets of scarce formula to the southern border to feed illegal immigrant children, now threaten to crater the party’s already weakened support among suburban women.
“Democrats have seen a double-digit decline among their strongest groups, especially women who are already struggling to stretch a dollar,”

President Joe Biden's use of the term "ultra-MAGA" reportedly followed six months of research into the best ways to target Republicans.
And it only took days for Republicans to put it T-shirts for fundraising sales.
The House Republicans' campaign arm is offering "ultra-MAGA" shirts with former President Donald Trump's likeness and a US flag. MAGA, which stands for "Make America Great Again," was Trump's 2016 campaign slogan

Progressive activists have long fallen on the tactic of resorting to violence, destruction, and even bloodshed to get their points across. With the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on abortion, I feel assured they will once more pull this oft-used tool from their belt, and once again resort to carnage and mayhem. Already, they vandalized several Catholic churches last weekend, and firebombed a Right to Life group’s headquarters. A bullet was fired into the office of the Virginia Attorney General this week as well. Violence is already here. These were all pre-game activities as they warm up for what is to come. In reality however, members

How many different diagnoses is this for him now? At different times I’ve heard Parkinson’s, thyroid cancer, and forthcoming surgery for some unspecified form of cancer.
Cancer does seem to be a recurring theme, though.
Yesterday at New Lines, Michael Weiss wrote that he’s obtained audio recorded in March of an unnamed Russian oligarch who’s “close to the Kremlin” admitting that Putin is very ill. Notably, the source of the recording claims the oligarch didn’t know he was being recorded when he said it. There’s no shortage of reasons to be skeptical, though

A curious development — positive, but still curious. Ever since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Defense Secretary has tried to get Sergei Shoigu to pick up the phone, at least for the purposes of deconfliction. The Russian defense minister has refused to engage … until today.
Whatever could have changed?
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Friday spoke with his Russian counterpart, the first such conversation between the two officials since the Kremlin’s attack on Ukraine began in February, according to the Pentagon.

We’ve reported extensively on President Biden’s health woes and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s rumored cancer. Add another major world leader to the list of the afflicted, because several media outlets claim Chinese President Xi Jinping, 68, is suffering from a brain aneurysm. Making his life more difficult are rumors of a possible coup by rivals tired of the nation’s uber-strict, economy-killing COVID lockdowns. According to New Delhi-based ANI news service, Xi decided against surgery, instead choosing treatment involving traditional Chinese medicines that soften the blood vessels and shrink aneurysms.

Tonight Joe Biden tweeted a particularly stupid idea: let’s fight inflation by raising corporate income taxes! It is extraordinary to see how out of ammunition the floundering Biden administration is, after less than a year and a half.
There is nothing newsworthy about Joe Biden saying something dumb, but Jeff Bezos’s Twitter response deserves notice: The Democrats are the party of oligarchy, and tech oligarchs are at the top of the food chain. If even people like Jeff Bezos are willing to step out of line, the Democrats may be in worse trouble than we knew.

It is currently a popular meme that the Republicans are poised for a Congressional sweep in the 2022 midterm elections, perhaps flipping as many as 40 — some say 60 — seats and regaining control of both houses. After all, the Democrats have performed so poorly across the board, whether in foreign policy, the economic realm, the maelstrom at the southern border, and in the overall domestic havoc they have wrought, as to constitute a disaster not seen in many decades, if not in living memory. Is this about to change? Victor Davis Hanson is not so sure. “The traditional bedrocks of the American system,” he writes, “a stable economy, energy independence,

Fred Ward, who starred in films including “Henry and June,” “Tremors,” “The Right Stuff” and “The Player,” died May 8, his publicist confirmed to Variety. He was 79.
Among his other prominent roles were parts in “Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins,” “Miami Blues” and “Short Cuts.”
There was a certain retro quality to the actor’s persona that made Ward seem more akin to Humphrey Bogart or John Garfield (although not quite with those actors’ level of charisma) than to his contemporaries, and it did not seem at all affected. He appeared to be the sort of fellow who hailed from the South Side of Chicago or Hell’s Kitchen,

When you go woke, you run the risk of going broke, and apparently, Netflix is pulling the ripcord before the streaming giant good and fully faceplants.
Following a financial report that saw its stock price plummet 37 percent in late April, Netflix is now moving to adjust its culture and reengage its frustrated audience. A new “culture memo” dealing with “artistic expression” has been sent out, and it’s clearly a shot at the woke staffers who have been sandbagging the company. Excerpts come via The Daily Wire.
“If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you,”
