George P. Bush may be floundering in his race for Texas attorney general due to the political toxicity of his family name, according to all available data. In decades past, there were few political dynasties in Texas as unstoppable as the Bush family name with a solid legacy stretching all the way back to the 1960s. In the age of Trump, the name’s staying power appears to have waned, and George P. Bush may be the latest casualty. Up against incumbent Ken Paxton, Bush cannot seem to find a rhythm with voters who either view him as an untrustworthy RINO or an opportunist spouting Trumpian slogans to win MAGA support.

Although rino may be inaccurate, George P. cannot be trusted because he’s a Bush. And why is he running against an incumbent?

Sorry buddy, maybe you're a rhino, maybe you're not but the risk is too high given your family. Take one for the team if you're really on it and do something else.
No one is ever voting a Bush into office again. Family name is dirt.

If it weren't for his family name no one would have ever heard of him. Hey, didn't we fight a war and form a country so we wouldn't have inherited political power?

Rightly so, we don’t need Bush politicians any more than we need more Clinton politicians. Bye bye. Need new blood to right the ship. Your globalist ways have ruined America.

I wish Republicans would give him a chance, all families have their “black sheep”, maybe he is theirs…would love to see him as a true MAGA, standing for all Americans…

The Bush family is a product of the Cold War. And the globalist system and America as "World Cop" that was created to win that Cold War is what they know. To them, it is simply the proper way things are done.
Trump is a threat to that order, as your average voter in Circleville, Ohio is having a hard time getting behind a system in which we are always at war, have to operate 10 super-carriers, while Europe gets free healthcare and government retirement pensions. And Trump grasped this truth. We uphold the world order...as 5000 Ohioans a year die of fentanyl overdoses because there are no jobs left that pay a living wage to regular people with high school diplommas.
The Bush family's problem is that it refuses to acknowledge this shift in reality. They do, in fact, despise it.

I wish I could take back my votes for GHWB and GWB. Both were big disappointments. I will never vote for a Bush again.

Well the word has gotten out to the general public i guess. George screwed the pooch when he betrayed so many of his supporters. Especially when he asked us for so much.

In a similar article, Fred Hitler thinks its unfair to brand him with his family name. So does Mike Stalin.

The previous two Bushes got into office in part because of their folksy charm. Same goes for Biden, and look where that got us. Bushes run one way and then govern another. None of them can be trusted. No more Bushes! Not now, not ever!!
