The Biden administration adamantly denied that its multi-million dollar harm reduction program would help dole out crack pipes to addicts, but smoking kits distributed all over the east coast include such paraphernalia. The Washington Free Beacon visited five harm reduction organizations in New York City, Boston, Richmond, Va., Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, and every single one included crack pipes in their safe smoking kits. All of the centers were non-profit health organizations and governmental agencies, exactly the types of groups eligible to apply for funding under the Biden administration's $30 million grant program.(Snip)'We've been very clear that we are not providing funding for crack pipes,' Psaki added

The Senate on Thursday confirmed Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell to a second four-year term, as the former investment banker leads the central bank in tightening monetary policy to fight 40-year high inflation. The bipartisan 80-19 vote included opposition from mostly Republicans, but also from Democrat Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bob Menendez. Menendez claimed Powell had not done enough to promote diversity at the Fed. While Powell led the Federal Reserve through a heavier focus on maximum employment with a higher tolerance for inflation through much of the pandemic, his agenda has now reversed course. The Fed has a dual mandate—maintaining full employment and keeping inflation around

A mother has been left fuming after her 12-year-old daughter's teacher invited her to an after-school arts club that was actually a gender and identity group. Erin Lee, whose child was at Wellington Middle School in Colorado up until this year, slammed Jenna Riep for getting the youngster to go to the Genders & Sexualities Alliance event. She told how her daughter came home and revealed a speaker told them they may be transgender if they were not comfortable in their bodies. The horrified mother claimed they also asked kids who they were sexually attracted to and informed they could be queer while being shown a 'Genderbread person'.

President Biden admitted Wednesday that inflation was stuck at “unacceptably high” levels after the annual rate fell slightly in April to 8.3%—but then blamed the COVID-19 pandemic and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine for the price increases rather than government spending. “While it is heartening to see that annual inflation moderated in April, the fact remains that inflation is unacceptably high,” Biden said in a statement.
Inflation hit a 40-year annual high of 8.5% in March. Although the annual inflation rate ticked lower in April, prices actually increased 0.3% on a month-to-month basis. Biden had attempted to preempt the latest inflation data
