Eleven people were shot in two mass shootings on Chicago’s South Side just five hours apart Tuesday night. One of the victims in the first shooting in Back of the Yards died, and a fight briefly broke out between police and residents who thought officers were not performing life-saving measures on the victims. In all, 21 people were shot in Chicago Tuesday, two of them fatally, a toll generally seen on a violent weekend in the city. At least 14 people were shot, two of them fatally, on Monday, and 24 people were shot — 6 of them fatally — over the past weekend.

Comments:

Rather than address gang shootouts, Lightfoot's message yesterday was to pledge $500,000 of city funds to help women have abortions.

I go on record that I fully support the efforts of the Honorable Mayor Lightfoot and the Chicago City Council as they bid to host the 2024 Democrat National Convention. In fact, I hope the DNC folks realize that Chicago is the perfect example of a democrat-run dynasty, and needs to be rewarded with the key democrat event of 2024.

Lightfoot is the epitome of the 'BLM' movement. If the shooters aren't killing blacks fast enough, $500,000 in emergency abortion funding should do the trick! Margaret Sanger would be so proud!

Well clearly the shooters mistook the victims for conservative Supreme Court justices. The mayor has issued a call to arms, as she calls it, in the wake of the leaked opinion of Alito re Roe vs. Wade. Of course, having been educated in Chicago Public Schools, the shooters didn’t know they needed to travel to DC to fulfill their calling.

It's just another acceptable form of abortion. All part of population control to reduce the demand on earth's resources, and the unsustainable strain on government entitlements.

Months after distressed moms have been vocally upset and concerned about the baby formula shortage, the media is finally starting to ask, how could this happen? The short answer is lockdown supply chains and the shutdown of one of the country’s largest formula plants in Michigan (Snip) Freeman said her clients and industry contacts began noticing an FDA crackdown on European formulas in the last few years, before the lockdowns, but an even greater spike since last August, well before the Abbott recall and plant shutdown that many are pointing to as the source of the shortage.(Snip)In some ways, the FDA seems more concerned about labeling than the nutrients themselves.

The company at the center of a baby formula crisis could face criminal charges, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday, as Democrats considered new government controls over the baby formula industry. “I think there might be a need for indictment,” said Mrs. Pelosi, who has realigned the House agenda to address a baby formula shortage. Democrats are also considering legislation that would give the federal government more control over the supply and distribution of formula, particularly when shortages arise. The plan would require formula companies to report inventory to the Food and Drug Administration, which could then move supplies from one state to another to fill empty shelves.
