Video sent from a witness who appears to be sitting in a nearby truck shows two men, who appear to be exchanging gunfire. One is inside a vehicle, and the other is outside the vehicle, running towards it. Multiple shots can be heard in the video.
A dump truck driver was shot as two drivers were engaged in a road rage incident on Duraleigh Road on Wednesday, police said.
Around 11 a.m., police said a dump truck ran a red light which led the driver of a dark-colored VW Passat to follow the truck.

North Korea raised coronavirus prevention measures Thursday as leader Kim Jong Un acknowledged for the first time that COVID-19 was spreading in the totalitarian nation.
An unspecified number of Pyongyang residents tested positive for the omicron variant, leading to a nationwide lockdown, according to the country’s state news agency.
Until Thursday, North Korea had said it was virus-free since the start of the pandemic more than two years ago, a claim that was dismissed as propaganda by most outside experts. The North shares an 880-mile border with China, the virus’ country of origin.

The White House on Tuesday said it encourages “peaceful” protests outside the homes of Supreme Court justices, while criticizing those on the right who have expressed “outrage” over Roe v. Wade demonstrations but were “silent” when protests against school boards, abortion clinics and the capitol riot.
Nancy Pelosi was on the same page and commended those who “channeled their righteous anger” over the Supreme Court’s leaked draft decision that would strike down Roe v. Wade by organizing and marching.

A majority of Americans say they are worried about being able to maintain their standard of living, poll results released Monday by Gallup showed.
Fifty-two percent saw they are worried about their standard of living, up four points from 2020. This is the first time a majority has worried about being able to maintain their standard of living since 2016, Gallup said.
The worries are even more pronounced about lower-income Americans. The share of Americans earnings $40,000 or less who say they worried about maintaining their standard of living has soared 17 points 56 percent in 2021 to 73 percent today.

The Houston Police Department released bodycam video of a deadly officer-involved shooting where a suspect was accused of fatally running over a construction worker and stabbing a Montrose apartment manager. Two officers discharged their duty weapons and struck the suspect more than once. The suspect dropped the knife, but got up and attempted to flee the scene on foot.
Houston police said it all started when a man, identified as 27-year-old Ronnie Dwayne Cesear, Jr. approached a 67-year-old construction worker, Carrl Hayes, who was working in the area overnight.
Cesear stabbed Hayes with a butcher knife, then jumped into the victim’s truck and ran him over, police said.

Several protesters dressed in “huge hats” and “red, hooded gowns,” disrupted a Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles Sunday morning, a parishioner told CNA.
The description of the protesters’ attire provided by the parishioner, Bradford Adkins, resembles costumes worn by members of the pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us, which threatened to disrupt Catholic Masses on Sunday, Mother’s Day.
Ruth Sent Us is a group that has anti-Amerian manifest and praise the far left Marxists ideologies.
They despise religion and they did this in the past but this time they choose the wrong hurh to play their stupid games!

WASHINGTON, DC — “We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into give you the outcomes you want,” Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas told a gathering on Thursday on Roe v. Wade. “The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that.”
Thomas was speaking to the judicial conference Eleventh Circuit. Each federal appellate circuit is under the supervision of one of the nine Supreme Court justices. A Georgia native, Thomas is circuit justice over that court, which has jurisdiction over Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Pro-abortion protesters marched on the neighboring homes of Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh Saturday night in the DC-Maryland straddling community of Chevy Chase.
The protesters were chanting, “No Uterus, No opinion!”
Suddenly, the Democrat party can define what a woman is.
The protest comes after the Washington Post published an article earlier Saturday about a pro-abortion neighbor of Kavanaugh who was protesting outside his home on a regular basis but was having trouble getting others to join her because most people believe protests at private homes are considered bad for a civil society.

Joe and Jill Biden welcomed the wife of Mexico’s president to the White House to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. From there, the US president delivered an onslaught of senior moments in the span of just a few minutes.
To start, he apparently didn’t know that the woman he was hosting was not actually the President of Mexico. And no, this was not him trying to be funny, as evidenced by how serious he is and the lack of laughter. He legitimately didn’t realize.

U.S. regulators on Thursday strictly limited who can receive Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine due to the ongoing risk of rare but serious blood clots.
The Food and Drug Administration said the shot should only be given to adults who cannot receive a different vaccine or specifically request J&J’s vaccine. U.S. authorities for months have recommended that Americans starting their COVID-19 vaccinations use the Pfizer or Moderna shots instead.
