New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) made tackling crime a central plank of his successful election campaign last November. A poll released Wednesday shows his inability to deliver is being punished by disillusioned voters.
A survey by Quinnipiac University shows crime is the top concern of 49 percent of city voters — more than triple the 15 percent of respondents who cited affordable housing and 12 percent homelessness.
However just 37 percent of city residents approved of Adams’s performance on crime, compared to 54 percent who disapproved. This is a reversal from the 49 percent who approved and 35 percent who disapproved in a survey as recently as last February.

We've seen what the other side is capable of this week (not that we hadn't known all along). This idiot is simply one of them. So no surprise.

Ya gotta get sick enough is the Ftards and Kwirdoz and their crappy ideologies.
Once you do that the big Apple will cease to rot.

'punished by disillusioned voters"? How does that work? Are they whipping him, torturing him somehow, I hope Get the FBI involved, they are experts at torture.

Is Eric Adams not sufficiently bLACK? Does he not call White people "crackers?" Didn't he try to snag a cushy top police job for his brother, who amounts to a meter maid at a community college? Didn't he hobnob with the Met Gala glitterati while wearing a meme jacket, and get his toenails did? Doesn't he have the biggest grin you ever did see? That's why they elected him, and naturally they're complaining again, as Noo Yawkizz do.

New Yorkers learn, again, that the pro-crime party will never try to subdue crime. Lie about subduing crime, sure. Doing anything about crime, never.

Face it, New York City today is one of the most dangerous places in the world. If you don’t have to be there, the smart thing to do get in and out of there as soon as possible. The local media there picks one or two representative violent crimes to report on every day, with unknown numbers of similar violent crimes not being reported.

Poor Mayor! After all he had a pedi and a garish outfit and was up all-night partying. Oh, you wanted him to do his job. He thought that was it. That's why he has to go and be fitted for 3 new suits per day, that IS a lot of work. Work, what is that what you are talking about????

They have a rigged electoral system in New York City that insures that a Democrat always wins with less than 20% of the entire electorate actually voting.

New Yorkers elected and the re-elected a communist mayor. And after those obvious bad results, decided to continue to elect a mayor from the Communist Democrat party.
Good and hard is what new Yorkers deserve. I will die of old age before I spend another penny in any of these blue city hell holes

The voters saw a black guy with a D next to his name. So, in order to not be considered racists they voted for him. No one should be surprised at the end product such thinking.

A friend of mine who is retired NYPD described Adams, when he was once a mere policeman, as a self aggrandizing showboat. In Texas we'd say he is "all hat and no cattle". Even worse: he said he was "the Al Sharpton of NYPD." we all know what that means. He is in way over his head as mayor, just like his predecessor.

New Yorkers are always a little late on the uptick when a fascist Democrat promises "a chicken in every pot". They get a worse decline than that fascist Warren Wilhelm and expect another fascist will give them a different result. Another problem is the security camera videos of crimes committed in NYC are filling up my social media posts and they are getting boring!

From now on don't expect liberal blue cities to have anything except PC mayors/leaders the white man is extinct you'll never see that again. Like the model fraud Biden administration is consisting of freak show characters. Blacks, persons with uteruses calling themselves males or neutrals, wise Latinxs but ner a white male. Don't expect change in New York the next mayor like the prior mayor, this mayor (the cracker hater) and future mayors will all be the same, losers.

So where were they when this idiot was running for mayor...if only 3% of the residence voted...where the hell were the 97% when it really counted...they got what they wanted.... a slick black man who cares only about himself and his narrative...perhaps he should have been scrutinized BEFORE he won....

Well, to fight crime, you have to actually dislike criminals. Not, like liberals including Gov. Hochuth (see article above) and Mayor Adams, who apparently dislike middle-class and law-abiding citizens, and think they have a mugging coming to them.

I'm disappointed but not surprised. I had hopes for a retired LEO as mayor and disregarded his primary allegiance. (as an aside, his oratory leaves something lacking)
