We don’t know at this point who leaked the Supreme Court draft opinion overturning two major abortion decisions, but we do know that this “suicide bomber,” as a former law clerk called them, is guilty of obstruction of justice and, in the words of another former law clerk, “violat[ed] like, ten different procedures.”
Mike Davis, a former law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, and who worked with the Senate Judiciary Committee on judicial nominations, spoke with me on KTTH radio and said, “You’re supposed to be dealing with the youngest, smartest, young lawyers and law grads in the country, and they have ethical obligations as young lawyers, future lawyers.”

These may be the smartest law school kids in the world, but they are still college kids. In their eyes if they are offended all rules are suspended. Doubly suspended if they are outraged. That's the reality in academia nowadays. Best bet if you want integrity is to find clerks who never went to school.

They've called in the "Supreme Court Police"; who knew there was a separate police dept? I hope that the Supreme Court PD isn't as corrupt as the Capitol Police?

We're almost at the point where every man is a law unto himself. Justice is not blind; it's crippled.

I’m more interested in knowing which Justice the leaker belongs to. My money is on Kagan or Sotomayer.

If SCOTUS computers have no connection to the internet, how can they then allow clerks to have their cellphones (all of which have cameras) with them? Or is the writer implying they brought in an actual camera?

Our universities and law schools that train our new court clerks, lawyers, and future judges/justices are churning out Marxist woke activists. They have no ethics. Everything is "win by any means necessary." Our culture is being completely corrupted and destroyed. Turned into a dystopian nightmare in every sector: government, media, entertainment, business, education, religion...EVERYTHING.
Are you going to go quietly up their ramp?

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. The lefties can vent now instead of later when there will be another news cycle. They’ll find something else to scream and yell at later.

Coming your way soon: a Department of Ethics to be used whenever the Department of Disinformation has discovered a breach of The Official Truth. The ethics Branch will determine the degree of INTENT involved in the disinformation so that appropriate punishment can be determined. Silly mistakes made by those with a D following their name will be instantly forgiven. Remember Hillary. Always remember Hillary: Wiped clean? Like with a cloth? Me? What do I know? Just a silly mistake.

Brett Baire said last night that the WH knew about the leak before it hit the press. I wonder how that happened? Could the Federal Bureau of Incompetence have had Alito's office bugged? Would not surprise me in the least. Now the Demoncraps can fund raise and try to distract the voters from the real issues, economy, inflation, the border.

The SCP (Supreme Court Police) there really is a need for police in the Supreme Court who knew? When the Supreme Cops aren't looking for leakers what are they doing, emptying waste baskets, shredding documents while other Cops stand guard?
Let me just say there is no law or justice in the land anymore. It's all, 'I do what I want and you can't stop me or do anything about it' unless I'm wearing a MAGA cap then all bets are off. Nothing is going to happen to this leaker.

The leaker committed no federal crime. The leaked first draft opinion was not classified as being confidential. Congress should amend Chapter 18 of the U.S. Code to include such leaks as hereafter being a federal felony.
The closest possible application is ". . . relates to . . . processes, operations, style of work . . . " (all of which miss the mark) in the misdemeanor specified at 18 U.S. Code Sec. 1905. which reads:
"Whoever, being an officer or employee of the United States or of any department or agency thereof, any person acting on behalf of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, or agent of the Department of Justice as defined in the Antitrust Civil Process Act (15 U.S.C. 1311–1314), or being an employee of a private sector organization who is or was assigned to an agency under chapter 37 of title 5, publishes, divulges, discloses, or makes known in any manner or to any extent not authorized by law any information coming to him in the course of his employment or official duties or by reason of any examination or investigation made by, or return, report or record made to or filed with, such department or agency or officer or employee thereof, which information concerns or RELATES TO the trade secrets, PROCESSES, OPERATIONS, STYLE OF WORK, or apparatus, or to the identity, confidential statistical data, amount or source of any income, profits, losses, or expenditures of any person, firm, partnership, corporation, or association; or permits any income return or copy thereof or any book containing any abstract or particulars thereof to be seen or examined by any person except as provided by law; shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and shall be removed from office or employment." I may have posted a comment similar to what I am about to post now, but here goes: every other "hallowed" institution in DC has been corrupted by the Left. It's unfortunate that the trust among the justices has now been betrayed but welcome to the real world Justices. You are no better than the rest of us. You've been treated too long as somehow above the law - pun intended. And many of your decisions have really harmed the average American of whom you have no clue about our lives and the challenges we face. Let me guess. Amy Comey Barrett stays up at night worrying how to pay for an Ivy League education for all of her kids - aw poor woman. But like the Obamas and every other elitist in DC, some benefactor will step up and pay their tuition or maybe get her and husband a nice, fat book contact.... And now we have someone soon to join the court who is the epitome of black privilege and she'll be soon lecturing us through her opinions how the rest of us are a bunch of extreme MAGA deplorables. Yeah, these Justice's - are just a bunch of over hyped attorneys who probably don't even know how to unclog a toilet. Ain't America great?

I'm sure, No. 16, that your argument also went through the mind of the leaker(s). It will give them scant solace once they are disbarred for life.

Limited number of suspects, the leaker should have been ID'd by now.
