What the hell is going on up on the Hill? What the hell are Republicans thinking with this move? We have every issue playing in our favor. The Left’s culture wars are turning off swaths of voters who are flocking to the GOP. We have the start of the Biden recession. We have high gas prices, inflation, and a southern border crisis—and what do Senate Republicans decide to do? Hold immigration reform talks with the Democrats.

All of them are poster children for term limits… If you leave elected service wealthier than when you arrived you need to spend 10 years in jail….

Do you see John Cornyn, R-Texas hopping mad on television everyday as the out-of-control border situation starts to reach a peak? He's busy attending committee meetings.

If they want to return to the offer presented by President Trump, that may be a good start.
Also, every person being allowed to stay should be required to register, apply, be screened, and put at the back of the current list waiting their turn to become U.S. citizens. It would hardly be amnesty since that list is about 10-12 year waiting time.
But then, the Democrats didn't want to give Trump the win, and remove the issue they thought would be a winning issue against Republicans. Democrats decided the pain, abuse and sacrifice of those immigrating was just collateral damage, and just part of the political calculus, it would seem.
I think that message is getting out into the Latino community, and why many have soured on the Democrat party.

Have to get all these new crossers registered to vote plus deflate enthusiasm. They did the same thing in 1990 giving the Democrats a last minute "deficit reduction" package right before the off year election that was hung around Bush Senior's neck again two years later. They rotate between stupid and criminally diabolical.

Explanation, the GOPe is in full RINO mode to assist Democrats in mitigating the ass kicking they deserve. True to form. More evidence we need a MAGA party. TO HELL WITH THE GOPe.

This is why I'm non-affiliated. After my reps voted for the pork and spend bills last year, I told them I might as vote for democrats. However, I don't plan to. The point I would like to make is that democrats generally vote 100% for a democrat sponsored bill, whereas the republicans are always stumbling across the aisle to vote against their own best interests. SMH. Term limits is the answer.

One of the things Ronaldus Magnus came to regret was the 1986 amnesty deal which included documenting people and controlling the border from what we see now.
The Dems NEVER did the other part of the deal, and they are untrustworthy to EVER hold up their part of an "bargain" or "deal"
W Bush had money approved and ready to build a wall-- what happened with that?
There is often a quote about only 20 million or so illegals here now-- at the present time, that has probably in the 40-50 million range. Adding 3 million since last October, and 223,000 just last month is unsustainable and will crash our economy.
Take the 14th amendment being used to justify births now will increase the rate of overturning our nation and the GRANTING OF AMNESTY to those already here will create an immediate effect the citizenry having their rights to vote taken away to stop any of this.
Laura Ingraham an others stopped the mid-90's effort to give amnesty, but just wait, they will bring back the very thing President came to the conclusion that it was a bad idea when the other part of the deal made did not come to fruition--

Please don't let these backstabbers off the hook with "they're stupid" or "what idiots".
No, they are not stupid - they do these things with malice and intent. NOT errors, not mistakes. Planned backstabbing....and then "Oh, gee, we got played, so sorry". Baloney.

After reading this article, it is easy to see why half the country has been calling the wimpy Republican Party “the Stupid Party” for so long. These days any legalization program for tens of millions of poor and uneducated illegal aliens, created by the leftist, progressive, or socialist Democrats, that the Democrats usually call “a path to citizenship” legalization program (amnesty) has a duel purpose. To legalize as many poor and uneducated illegal aliens as possible who the Democrats believe are bound to become future Democrat supporters and voters; and that the Democrats believe will cause many of the wimpy Republicans to end up committing long-term political suicide after they cross the aisle and support such a Democrat amnesty.

The laws are fine as they are, just enforce them. Until the present laws are followed I say take a hike to anyone that wants new laws that won't be followed.
