One of the downsides to censorship — even the well meaning kind — is it throttles the ‘reality signal’. The world, as experienced directly, expresses itself in a bewildering fashion, containing both signal and noise and often incomplete information about what we are trying to observe. The viewer is frequently unsure what he witnessing and puts forward a series of hypotheses to explain and predict what transpires. And often he is wrong.
Doubtless it would be more convenient for some if reality could be filtered before it was perceived. That way the recipients of the signal would never be confused. Everyone would get the same official message.

Wisconsin 10-year-old Lily Peters was sexually assaulted after her strangling death at the hands of a boy four years her senior earlier this week, prosecutors revealed in a harrowing bond hearing Wednesday afternoon.
Judge Benjamin Lane agreed to prosecutors' request to set bond at $1 million and ordered the defendant to avoid contact with minors, except his siblings, so long as such contact is supervised.
Prosecutors identified the suspect through his initials and only as a 14-year-old boy and alleged that the eighth-grader admitted to physically assaulting the child before strangling her to death and then sexually assaulting her.

A former FBI special agent and federal prosecutor believes that special counsel John Durham “may have sufficient grounds to seek charges against multiple parties for conspiracy to lie to the government,” according to a report from The Epoch Times.
The question is, though, whether or not he will.
The evidence is overwhelming, and Durham has already accused the Hillary Clinton campaign, her lawyers, and others hired by the campaign of conspiring to dig up dirt on Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Technically, there’s nothing illegal about that. There is one small legal issue, though: as The Epoch Times reports, Durham has outlined evidence that indicates the “joint venture” between the

With inflation the worst it’s been in 40 years, can a significant recession be far behind?
Deutsche Bank certainly thinks a major recession is in the offing. At the beginning of April, the multinational investment and financial services bank originally forecast a mild U.S. inflation. But on Tuesday, its team of economists wrote in a report to clients, which was titled “Why the coming recession will be worse than expected,” “We will get a major recession.” At issue is the rampant (and completely predictable) inflation caused by Big Left’s disastrous COVID-19 response. Shut down businesses and industries? You disrupt the supply chain and create shortages.

Should Russian culture be banned or canceled to punish Russia and Vladimir Putin for their aggression against Ukraine?
Dramatically, in March 2022, the Metropolitan Opera in New York decided to cut ties with all artists who were regarded as "pro-Putin." As a consequence, Met general manager Peter Gelb dropped from the cast the magnetic soprano, Anna Netrebko, whom he describes as one of the greatest singers in Met history. There was, he said, no way forward because Netrebko had not renounced her support of Putin.
In response, Netrebko replied that she was opposed to "this war[.] I am Russian and I love my country[.]

Talk about depressed.
Stuck with an unpopular president and a weak replacement bench, Democratic voters appear to be throwing their hands up in frustration when it comes to who they would like as their 2024 nominee.
In a new I&I/TIPP poll, just 29% of Democrats picked President Joe Biden. And tied for second at 12% were Vice President Kamala Harris and “Not Sure.”
And that’s Biden’s base. Throw in Republicans and independents, and the president in the national survey drops to 19%, beat handily by “Not Sure” at 28%.
“For a sitting president barely into his second year in office to be below 20% in the next election’s preference shows just how low Biden

There’s an Elon Musk exposé on a possible coverup of Tesla deaths coming to FX next month as part of the network’s The New York Times Presents series.
According to Variety, “Elon Musk’s Crash Course” will take a critical look at Musk’s Tesla automaker and its efforts to create fully self-driving cars:
"The film will dive into how Tesla’s Autopilot program has resulted in several deaths that Musk and the company has yet to publicly acknowledge, and details Musk’s efforts to kill government investigations into the incidents. Several former Tesla employees will be featured in the documentary, speaking out against Musk for the first time."

While patriotic Americans are going to church, sparking up the bar-b-que, or having a cigar and a bourbon while watching the eliminated Red Wings lame-duck their way through their final games (ahem), liberal “men” are crying off last night’s mascara as their pansexual “partners” read aloud the latest headlines from the American Revolution 2.0.

Now that Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen—it’s hovering in the low 40s, and it can’t get up—the Main Stream Media have come up with a new line of defense for their man. Okay, goes this new line, Biden isn’t doing so well, but that’s to be expected—because no president can do well. That is, the problems are just too tough, the job is just too hard, the country is just too polarized, yada yada yada.
As we shall see, history suggests that the American people won’t buy an argument based on hopelessness, which we can call the desperation defense. After all, Americans tend to be optimistic

Anyone who is familiar with the James Bond franchise knows that Spectre is an international crime organization. Like Spectre, the World Economic Forum (WEF) operates in the shadows, but working under the pretense that they are an organization devoted to preserving peace and saving the planet. They are, in reality, a criminal cartel whose only interest is world conquest by enslavement and mass murder.
Their scheme has many names…The New World Order (NWO), Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, The Great Reset. The cabal is determined to return the planet to medieval serfdom, except without sovereign nations. They will establish world government, and a universal religion,

It’s always fun to see how much the Never Trump folks reveal themselves and tend to shoot themselves in the foot.
But when you look at a group that includes people like The Lincoln Project, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL), Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-WY), and Rep. Mitt Romney (RINO-UT), you know it’s going to be a never-ending fount of hypocrisy. One of the funniest things is how they posture at being the “true conservatives.” Yet, they then throw in with Democrats — who are doing all they can to push us further to the left — effectively helping their agenda against Republicans. If you’re voting for and/or helping the Democratic agenda,

As we have reported numerous times in the past, psychedelic mushrooms are becoming increasingly popular in the US as a possible treatment for psychiatric disorders, with their main active ingredient, psilocybin, moving from the fringes of medicine, to become increasingly mainstream. Roland Griffiths, a professor who studies the neuropsychopharmacology of consciousness at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, received approval in 2000 to carry out the first experiments on psilocybin since the 1960s. He found in a survey of early study participants that more than half regarded it as one of the most meaningful experiences of their life. “The mystical experience
