New footage of Vladimir Putin appearing unsteady, fidgeting and biting his lips during an Orthodox Easter service in Moscow on Sunday has added to suspicions that the Russian leader is seriously ill.
The frail-looking strongman is seen swaying during the Mass conducted by the Russian Orthodox Church, which has strongly backed its leader’s so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine.
Putin, 69 — dressed in a dark blue suit, a white shirt and dark purple tie — holds a red candle as he stands in Moscow’s Christ the Savior Cathedral alongside Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Easter church service? I'm surprised he didn't burst into flames during the service.

My take-away...... He didn't want to be there. He didn't appear to me to be frail or sick.

#3, not to mention, I don't think anyone gets to sit at Orthodox services, no matter how long, and if they are the same as czarist services, they are looooong.

Remember the movie Fort Apache? Remember the commanding officer, played by Henry Fonda and the circumstances of his death??

Question is, if Putin goes, who takes over Russia? A former hardline KGB boss? An crime ridden oligarch? A true friend to the American Communist Party who supports and will work with Obama and Clinton to finish the Great Reset? Be careful what we wish for as we don’t know what will transpire after Putin.

Agree with Poster #7. Easter services are l-o-o-o-o-n-g (The St. Basil the Great liturgy lasts two hours at a minimum) and you are standing the whole time. Even people who are not ageing dictators have been known to fidget under those circumstances.

If it it true that Putin bathes in blood from deer antlers, he might have exposed himself to the cervid-version of prion disease called chronic wasting disease.
It is akin to scrapie in sheep and "mad cow" in older dairy cows.
His symptoms would be just like Parkenson's.
But they would get worse including madness and loss of control over language, diminished seeing & hearing even ability to sleep.

The Pascha liturgy is long and takes place around midnight. It is hard on the body (especially after Holy Week which is a marathon of long services) but great for the soul. When our first was little, we often brought a pillow and blanket and we would make a little nest for him to take a snooze. Even with all the shouting of "Christ is Risen!" he would still snooze away he was so pooped out.

He didn't look unsteady to me. Anyone who has had to stand for long periods know you need to shift your feet sometimes in order to keep the blood flowing in your legs and withstand the monotony. This is just a hit piece by someone that backs the corrupt nazi Soros regime of Ukraine. What ever the MSM is pushing, believe the opposite.

2nd post apologies, but, Mrs. Lakerman believed that our two Russian children should maintain their heritage, so we took them to a Russian festival, which included a tour of the Russian Orthodox church.
As we walked in, the priest gave wife and daughter head coverings, to conform with Corinthians, he said. (That obligation, in Roman Catholic churches, was abolished by Vatican II.)
And when I noticed the large open area in the middle of the church, I asked the priest what that was for. He gave me an impatient look, and said, 'prostration.' (At least I think he used that word. There is a whole lot of lying down during an Orthodox Mass, my Orthodox student told me.) Women on one side, men on the other side, prostration in the middle.

It's a very long Easter Service, and he's struggling to control his urge to pee.

If Putin is actually terminally ill, only God knows what he may do. Dictators are always dangerous, but dying dictators?
Old Chinese Curse, which I first heard of in about 1967......"May you live in interesting times."
Things are getting a bit too darned interesting, IMO. I'd like a bit less interesting times.

"Vladimir Putin appearing unsteady, fidgeting and biting his lips." So? San Fran Nan has been doing that for 7-8 years. And she's tarp as a shack.

Putin is an intelligent military man. He knows what is coming unlike dementia Biden. He is in church praying to God. Russians love Russia especially since they rid their homeland the Bolsheviks who would not allow Christian churches. Pray for Russia and the innocent people of the Ukraine.
