Special Counsel John Durham said in a Friday court filing that the CIA determined data from former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann surrounding alleged links between the Trump organization and Russia was “user created” and not “technically plausible.”Sussmann, a Democratic lawyer with ties to Clinton’s 2016 campaign, was charged last year by special counsel John Durham with lying to the FBI during a 2016 meeting. Sussmann filed a motion to dismiss the case in February, but a judge ruled in April that the case will be allowed to proceed.In the latest court filing, Durham noted that the CIA “concluded in early 2017” that the data didn’t “withstand technical scrutiny.”

Irrespective of privacy concerns from The American Civil Liberties Union of South Dakota, the Pentagon has decided to launch solar powered balloons across six different states this Friday. These balloons are intended to be a persistence surveillance system in order for the Pentagon to track narcotics and Homeland Security threats. This is according to the filing with the Federal Communications Commission. The Federal Communications Commission authorized these balloons to be launched into high altitude on July 12th. This is considered an experimental special temporary authorization.

We all get that political strategists like to cheerlead for their party. Some might even say that it’s their job.
I, however, think that a good strategist is willing to see and speak the truth. If their party is failing, they aren’t doing anyone any favors by pretending things are going well.
Which brings me to Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, who appeared on ABC’s This Week on Sunday and gave the most laughable assessment of the upcoming midterms I’ve seen.
According to Brazile, the GOP is “essentially running on fumes” from allegations of voter fraud in 2020, while Democrats “are running on the economy that’s roaring back” and “fighting inflation.”
