Two women at New Jersey's only all-women's prison have both fallen pregnant after having sex with a transgender inmate. The pregnant women, who were not identified, are housed at the embattled Edna Mahan Correctional Facility, in Clinton, which New Jersey Governor announced plans to close last year.(Snip)It is unclear if the women had sex with the same transgender inmate, or if it was two different inmates. Edna Mahan houses 27 transgender prisoners, and over 800 women altogether. It is also unclear how far along the two inmates are, and whether they plan to continue with their respective pregnancies. An investigation has been launched.

Secret Service agents were outraged last year by the White House’s attempt to downplay bite injuries caused by then-first dog Major—even trying to get President Biden to personally pay for a coat destroyed by then-first dog Major Biden, newly released documents show. Secret Service leaders also sought to keep attack details out of official paperwork—at one point rejecting an agent’s “excessively detailed” account to avoid upsetting the first family—after Major bit agents on eight consecutive days.(Snip)The March 8 bite actually was the final attack in an eight-day streak and the wounded agent—whose injuries were categorized as “severe” by a colleague—fumed

An antisemitic New Jersey man went on a shocking hours-long crime spree targeting Hasidic Jews—having warned his family to expect “a blood bath,” according to police documents. Dion Marsh, 27, was charged with three counts of attempted murder as well as bias intimidation for allegedly running down two men and stabbing another in the chest on Saturday, Ocean County prosecutors said. The spree started with a violent carjacking in Lakewood Township just after 1 p.m.—and only ended nearly 10 hours later when he was arrested at home in Manchester, prosecutors said. Two of his victims—including an Orthodox Jew who was stabbed—were listed in critical but stable

When I first opened my shoe store last year, I thought that small businesses had made it through the worst. Both in Minnesota and across the nation, COVID-19 cases were starting to drop, and a sense of normalcy was slowly returning. But a new epidemic destroyed my business in just a few months: retail theft. Despite investing thousands of dollars into my store in Little Canada—which included state-of-the-art security measures—I became victim to a spree of brazen burglaries that saddled my family with mounting debt. In just six months, five robberies alone have cost me $30,000 worth of merchandise and caused me to close

A group of at least 17 gangs targeting Los Angeles' wealthiest are responsible for the city's recent string of 'follow-home' robberies, cops said Tuesday. 'In my 34 years in the LAPD, I have never seen this type of criminal behavior in such large groups coordinating to conduct attacks on unsuspecting citizens to take their property and/or vehicles,' said Capt. Jonathan Tippet of the attacks, which started in September.(Snip)Since then, a total of 221 follow-home robberies have been reported—with a further 45 coming before the task force's creation. During Tuesday's briefing, Tippet and other cops criticized city laws that saw two suspects the task force

Leaders of a Queens-based nationwide prostitution ring enforced their rule over sex workers with vicious hammer and bat assaults, prosecutors announced Tuesday. The feds indicted nine members of the ring Tuesday in a wide-ranging racketeering and sex trafficking case in which the defendants are accused of recruiting mostly undocumented immigrant Chinese women to work as prostitutes in hotels across the country. Group members tied up and beat women who its leaders believed were working independently or for other organizations as sex workers, prosecutors said.(Snip)The next day a victim in Midland, Texas lost conscious after a baseball bat beating by Siyu Chen, 24, the feds said.

An initial report circulating on Monday night from Ukraine said Russian forces had used “a poisonous substance of unknown origin” against Ukrainian civilians and military holed up in the besieged city of Mariupol. The victims were described as having “respiratory failure” and a rather specific diagnosis of “vestibulo-atactic syndrome”, nominally inner ear problems leading to dizziness and perhaps vomiting, eye twitching and loss of balance. There was immediate speculation that the events described were a chemical weapons attack. Liz Truss, the British foreign secretary, said the UK was urgently investigating while a Pentagon spokesperson said the reports “if true, are deeply concerning”. But some observers have expressed scepticism

Black Lives Matter issued a thinly-veiled apology on Monday night over the left-wing groups purchase of a multi-million dollar mansion that was paid for with donations raised from loyal supporters.
The purchase was fully exposed last week in an article by New York Magazine. The property was bought for almost $6million in cash in October 2020 with funds that had been donated to BLMGNF (Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation).(Snip)'We know narratives like this cause harm to organizers doing brilliant work across the country and these reports do not reflect the totality of the movement,' one of the tweets reads. Atlanta—The National Urban League released its annual report on the State of Black America on Tuesday, and its findings are grim. This year’s Equality Index shows Black people still get only 73.9% of the American pie white people enjoy. While Black people have made economic and health gains, they’ve slipped further behind white people in education, social justice and civic engagement since this index was launched in 2005. A compendium of average outcomes by race in many aspects of life, it shows just how hard it is for people of color to overcome systemic racism, the civil rights organization says.(Snip)The index shows not only that the median household

Clinton accuser Juanita Broaddrick has been kicked off Twitter over her COVID-19 tweets, joining the growing list of prominent conservatives jettisoned from the tech platform for violations of its policies. Twitter confirmed Monday that Ms. Broaddrick had been permanently suspended after she informed Fox News that she had been locked out of her account, named @atensnut, short for “a tennis nut.” “We permanently suspended the account referenced for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Washington Times. “We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.”
