The Disney corporate dynasty has been a bedrock part of Americana since the 1930s, a family-friendly icon without peer. But its recent stance on parents’ rights to decide what their kids should be taught in school about sexuality endangers that, a new I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
As part of our April I&I/TIPP poll, we asked 1,305 adults across America the following question: “How closely are you following the recent story about the opposition of some Disney employees to the new Florida law forbidding classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity from kindergarten through third grade?”
A larger share of Americans

Its disappointing that so many have trust in Disney. I will never step foot in one of their ThemeParks again, and I will never watch or buy anything Disney.

I read the article yesterday explaining where Disneys biggest support comes from.
Sixty percent! Of Disney support comes from single, childless adults! They go to the movies, buy the swag, use the amusement parks, etc. 60%! Astounding. Another common denominator of that 60% besides being childless is their childness. Fully grown people who are perpetual children refusing to grow the hell up. I weep for my species.

Pedophiles have gradually ruined the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. When Disney falls apart maybe these people will get the idea that children are not valid targets of perverts. They can "identify" what they please but they haven't found a way to produce their own children.

I do understand how disappointing the Disney CEO and his policies are but I have to comment on #3. To make those assumptions is irresponsible. My daughter and son-in-law are very hardworking people and, yes, they do not have children at this point. Your comment about "refusing to grow the hell up" couldn't be farther from the truth. They worked hard at putting themselves through college and they do go to Disney. I wish you could have a conversation with them because it sounds like in their young age, they are more mature.

Grew up watching all the classic Disney animations. Sad, I can no longer morally and ethically connect with Disney's Satanic ways. Canceled everything that is DISNEY.

Eliminating the tax break should be done. Why should they receive a tax break? They have located there and they are not going to move, no need for a tax break any longer.

Be it Disney, or sweet Uncle Charlie, perverts will eventually show their motives. They can't help it. It is the very nature of their driving force. Evil always corrupts. Always.

Take away all of Disney special perks and tax breaks then see if they move. I'll bet they won't. Disney will never find forty square miles to re-locate in this day and age except maybe in the Mohave desert, but it won't be Florida by a long stretch.

I have several more comments. Sorry. I guess a nerve was hit with me. I was not fond of liberals using cancel culture to accomplish their means and I am not really fond of conservatives using the same approach. My daughter pointed something out to me that gave me pause in thinking. With all of these businesses being cancelled either by liberals or conservatives, you know who suffers the most? The really good employees working for that company. I don't like what the CEO is doing but don't begrudge me if I don't want to get caught up in the games. Governor Ron Desantis seems like he has a good head on his shoulders so I will let him figure things out. I won't add to his problems. . .
One more thing. I will try not to generalize but I have found that the kids refusing to grow up are ones involved in drugs, alcohol, gambling, video games etc. Many of them grew up without God and His word.
With that said, there are many trying to clean up their lives. I will leave it at that. . .

To #5’s point: I have a long-standing client who goes to WDW every year for about 2 weeks. She goes with her best friend. One is in her 50s, one in her 60s. I nicknamed my client Tinkerbell because she such a wealth of information to me when we planned a family trip to WDW several years ago, pre-Covid. (I’d never go back, btw, but that’s a story for another time.) She has grown children and grandchildren, works full-time, and cares for her elderly parents. She is not childish, but she has a childlike appreciation of the world, which is very sweet and endearing. She is generous, hardworking and incredibly patient. WDW is her thing. She just loves it, and she and her friend have it down to a science, between the hotels, and the meals, and the FastPasses, etc. She takes no other vacations; she just does WDW. It’s her escape from the pressures of the world. Some people like their Scotch, some their RVs, some like WDW.
This year will be the first year that she hasn’t gone in over 15 years. And, she has no plans to go back. She is an avid mask wearer, and a moderate conservative. And, she is disgusted by what she sees happening. You can bet there are others.

Disney is one of the most evil corporations on the planet. I've never liked rodents.
Boycott Disney.

#5/12 - I agree with your assessment of the cancel culture creeping into conservatism. However, I believe the case against Disney goes beyond casual cancelling. The cancel culture cut its teeth being triggered by day-to-day political views and commentary. Although on the surface Disney's opposition to the Florida education law would be considered "political", the subject of that law is above all else a fundamental moral issue; a moral issue that puts children in danger while supposedly providing a safe place for families and children to play. People are reacting to the cognitive dissonance of Disney voluntarily and voraciously voicing their support for the sexual grooming of kindergartners. Disney deserves all the backlash they are receiving.
I also read the article #3 referenced. Its purpose was to answer the question, "Why is a family-oriented business going out of their way to offend parents of young children?" The fact that Disney has a growing demographic which is predominately adults with no children, while the percentage of couples with children is dwindling, is a startling answer. If I remember correctly, within the adults/no children demo the predominate ages were 20-40. That would put #14's sweet friend out of their target group of growing fans.
I'm sure your adult children are lovely, Christian people. And, I'll bet, they're planning on having children and sharing the Disney experience with them. But we all know that young people like that are outnumbered by their peers who have decided that "for the good of the planet" they will not "reproduce". Again, your young adults are not the target audience.
Satan has donned the costume of The Mouse. Beware.
